Likes

students have the faculty advicer helps to solve personal problem and counsiling
give importants in sports and conduct inter college competition
teaching faculty are experience atleast 8+years. so the concept are clear and guideable

Dislikes

canteen facility and regular cleaning are inconsistent
some restroom are not maintain hygene. it is difficult for personal disable student

visa,assenture,bank of america,apple, amazon,tcs, hcl, ibm,citicorp,tvs, etc. mostly of the companies only expect software developers role. they have various round to select there candidate. but they only hire few people not due to low skill set. most of the companies have low vacancies. and all the companies from our college will give stipend.

This campus promotes extra curricular activities like NSS, YRC and sports activities.
The bond between the seniors and juniors is priceless
The support from teachers for educational development and personal development is invaluable

Dislikes

The distance between hostel and campus is too much for 2nd and 3rd year students
There is no permission for other activities while class hours
Very strict in maintaining 75 percentage of attendance

Internships Opportunities:

Most of the companies provide internship with stipend for good graded students and also help them for placements in their companies.Companies like TCS and infosis made the students more successful in their life.

Likes

The environment in the campus is very good.
The people in this college is very good.
The classroom are with smartboard and good ventilation

Dislikes

The teaching style of the faculty is not good.
The rules in the college are very strict.
Only formal dress code is allowed for college.

Likes

Good placement opportunities for students.That is main advantage of the university
Good faculty,they are masters in their subjects and they teach advanced topics apart from syllabus
Culturals and events are held every semester

Dislikes

Infrastructure is old , because the college was started 50 years ago
Improving parking space and infrastructure
Canteen is very small ,Many students can't buy food in canteen

Placement Experience:

In 5th semester students are eligible to get internship. There are lot of company visiting our colleges. The high package is 42Lpa and low is 4lpa 95% get placement and balance go for higher studies. To get places in a reputed company is my plan

There are a varities of clubs in MIT, mostly focus on improving students technical and non- technical skills.

Dislikes

Canteen facility is average..food quality is ok and good... And overinteraction between senior-junior relation often results in ragging issues

Likes

Infrastructure is well good and the campus is surrounded by the nature it was very impressive.
Campus located at main area , back of the campus railway facilities,and they provide good transport facilities.
Good teaching, staffs are very friendly to students and senior junior relationship are very strong.

Dislikes

Campus uncleanliness, small campus, the buildings are old.
In flood time campus is filled with full of rain water .
Bathrooms are not clean in few buildings.

Internships Opportunities:

Visa and amazon and Walmart,Signify ,society general,sap labs, Western digital andIntel and vegrow and mathwork India are some companies offer internship with stipend. Projects in ctdt like automated vegetable processor and sense of touch in augmented reality and advance traffic regulator with accident immune system and pest detector.

College Review and Experience sharing

Likes

The experience was good and I like the facilities offered in the college.
Placement is good and infrastructure is just wow.
Hostel room are too good and provided the quality food.

Dislikes

Only for placements students has to go to main anna university campus.If they conduct the interview here itself it will be good for everyone.

Internships Opportunities:

Infosys, Wipro will offer an internship program to students with a stipend of 12000. The role of the students will be System Engineer Trainee. They will conduct training for the internship offered to students. If they pass the training they will be offered as a permanent employee of the company.

Everything that needed for a college to have be spent for a 4 years engineering course

Dislikes

Ragging was there initially but that too now has been stopped by anti ragging commission inside the college campus

Internships Opportunities:

There are only inside college internships available like SCOE and IOT, mostly the availability is done only for those students who complete 4th semester and will be searching for an internship outside the college campus, so this is a college-based internship available without stipends for more than a week to below 6 weeks

I like the Class room and my depatment.(RHLC)
I mostly like the library and mit annex for players
I like the surrounding place because of trees.

Internships Opportunities:

According to the project if we do a project it will make too much to understand that concept. It is helpful to put it in my resume also. It will make us understand the concept of that project if we don't know what we can learn through the project.

Life of MIT

Likes

I am enjoying the cultural festivals and hostel festival.
Enjoy our department symposium and other events.
The college is in the center of the city and near railway station. So travel to come easy.

Dislikes

Once you missed the due date for any fees you should pay the fine . No excuses give him.
At the time of enrollment the website will be cracked. So you didn't choose your liked faculties at the time.
The distance between the college and hostel is 1.5 km.

Placement Experience:

During the 7th semester, the campus placement is started. The top companies Google, Amazon, TCS, etc. companies are visited. You can get an average package of the placement of 6 lakhs per year. You should maintain your cgpa average of 7.5.

What is the ranking of Madras Institute of Technology in aerospace engineering in India?

The ranking of Madras Institute of Technology doesn't really matter because there is no scope for Aerospace Engineering in India. It may sound very good in the beginning but after joining this course you will face difficulties. It will create a negative viewpoint for this course and you will feel like dropping this course after 1 or 2 years.

The placements of this branch are also very poor due to less demand in the industry. Securing a job at Hindustan Aeronautics or ISRO will be a little difficult due to fewer openings. ISRO recruits most of the engineers from IISc, so you might have to wait for a few years to get a job there. You can also do MS abroad and then try getting a decent job over there.
