IEM Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I always admired being in a Business environment. Always loved what my parents did. I like to manage things for the benefit of all including your physical or mental health. The faculties are good. Although they are quite strict they are for your own benefit. They are just doing their jobs. Teaching nowadays is online but the students are quite interactive. Midsemester happens after every 2 months or so and after 6 months is your semester exams. Those are held with strict invigilation and guidance. So you need to look out for yourself.

From 4th year students are eligible for campus placements. Students also need to work as an intern in the 3rd year. Don't know about the companies visited and no offers made. 1Cr, 90% and above. Higher studies.

The most important and excellent thing about this College is it has a great Placement record almost 95% students got placed company like TCS Wipro adobe Samsung are there last year highest package is 40 lakhs per year 4 students got this and avg package is 5/6 lakhs per year.

From 7th semester students because eligible for campus placements. TCS, Infosys visits as mass recruiters. The average package of CSE streams is around 4lpa. Around 90%+ students get placed. My plans after the degree are to get into an MNC

From the 7th Semester, a student becomes eligible for campus placement. The Placement in IEM Kolkata is the best one private college can provide in Kolkata. I plan to get a job from the campus placement with a decent package.

I have always been curious about Computer Science and it is my love for the subject that drove me to choose this branch in a reputed college like mine. The student-teacher ratio is close to 1: 60. There are timely exams. Two midsemester exams of 70 marks and end semester exams of 100 marks. Apart from this, there are regular assignments to complete with due deadlines

College offers decent placement opportunities, most of the students gets placed in various mega recruiting companies like IBN, TCS and many more mass recruiters. Some elite students tend to get high handsome salaries, with 20lkpa+. Many students like to apply offline can talented ones get even 40+ LPA.

The main reason students take admission in IEM is because of its placements. It has a record of 100% placements over the years. The avg placement is 4 to 5 lpa. A wide variety of placement opportunities are there.

I have a great interest in computer science and engineering. 2-3 teachers per 60 students are the average ratio. Each and every teacher are either from the BTech field or hons field. 2mid sems are held along with the final sem exam within a span of 4-5 months

I choose the course BTech in CSE because I have developed a love for the subject of computer science. 2-3 teachers per subject for 60+ students. Every one of them is highly qualified either in fields of engineering or honours. Term exams happen quite often within a span of 3-4months we have our mid sems.
