The Bright And Dark Side of my College ! Dr. B C Roy Engineering College !

The college fee structure is good it's good just good not awesome. The tuition fees and service fees are okay. But I think for the day scholar the Gym and the library fees are not considerable. It would be better that if it could be cut down. The scholarship available like I am pursuing Swami Vivekananda scholarship. It is 60,000 per annum. And they undertake job responsibilities and strike an order quite good

Low Placements, syllabus not getting completed on time.

The recent fees hike was a great setback for all first year student. The course fee which was around 3.77 lakh get jumped to 524000rs which is a quite headache for all student. Many were running here and there for a loan where many planing to drop out. Most popular scholarship is Swami Vivekananda scholarship which provide 60000 rupees per year ... Also there is a scholarship from institute of engineering (IEI)which providing 6000(10 times) per year for merid based student and 14000 for merit cum mean based student. There is no other financial assistance I know according to my knowledge and jobs on campus has average package of 4.5 LPA and highest package is around 15 LPA as per college claims.

I this this is a good college for students in low cost.

In few months college have improve his fees. Many types of scholarship is seeing here for wb students and all other states students and many company are coming for pavement just like infosis, capgimini, etc.

The fees recently got hiked saying that it is goverment development fee. If the feees could be less than it would be great. You can get any scholarships from this college. I am in first year. So I do not get any job i can inform you later

All that glitters is not gold

Total fees 373000rs .1st admission college takes 67000 rs there including teaching fees and exam fees and also dress cost. Each semester college takes 42450 rs. but those students who are taking hostel college add some other cost. College approved all scholarships like SVMCM and other states' scholarships. Not any problem will be faced in college management all they are approved.
