- MAKAUT has rescheduled the 1st Phase of the Registration process for newly admitted B.Tech, B.Tech (Lateral), MCA and M.Tech students for the academic year 2024-25. The registrations will be held on October 28, 29, 30, 2024 and November 05, 06, 2024.
About BCE
Bengal College of Engineering formerly known as BCETW is a private engineering institute located in Bidhan Nagar, Durgapur, West Bengal, India. It was established in the year 2009 by the SKS Educational and Social Trust. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata. It offers engineering study in various fields. Bengal College of Engineering accepts JEE Main and WBJEE.

Bengal College of Engineering offers full-time B.Tech Program (Bachelor of Technology) in various specializations such as Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. Bengal College of Engineering Eligibility and Admission
B.Tech Program
Students should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology a Technical Vocational Subject with at least 45% marks (For SC/ST 40% marks) from a reputed board to be eligible for B.Tech admission. The minimum age required for admission to B.Tech is 17 years. Bengal College of Engineering Admission is done on the basis of rank secured in the WBJEE/ JEE-Main.
B.Tech Lateral Entry
For direct admission to the second year, candidates should have passed diploma from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category students) in the relevant branch of engineering. The selection is done through valid JELET score.
Bengal College of Engineering Placement
Bengal College of Engineering has a well-organized cell for placement namely- Training and Placement Cell. The cell organizes the complete placement process. It conducts summer and winter training for students. Many prestigious companies visit the campus for recruitment, some of the major recruiters are Tech Mahindra, TATA, Microsoft, SAP, and IBM.

I have some options but not the best option I choose this for the locality and college fees is affordable price.like 6 lakh for 4 years . Durgapur is good and peaceful place college you will find more students from Bihar rather than Bengal

The admission process is done on the basis of entrance exam. You can take admission in our college through WBJEE and JEE MAINS. I have taken admission in this college through WBJEE. So overall the admission process is easy.
Admission:
I cleared the WBJEE exam and then I went to the admission cell and talked about my course and discussed the fees. I got the admission form and filled it up carefully and submitted it, at the time of admission they took 98000.

For admission to this college, you must have to pass 10th and 12th with a 60% minimum aggregate and must appear in Jee mains or Wbjee and Secure a rank in it. You also get direct admission here. And if you TFW quota reservation with you then you get course fee benefits only.
