Bit cultural and hospitality and seniors interactions
Infrastructure of bit sindri is very much nice and excellent
Clubs in bit sindri is very much importance

Seniors ragging and very long route too
Not allowed to use tiger road and main gate
Girls ratio in bit sindri is very much ordinary

Course curriculum is quite similar to curriculum of NITs and faculty members are supporting but for exam you have to prepare by yourself.Faculty student is good enough.All faculty are well qualified and knowledgeable.

Helpful faculties the guide us warmly u can ask any time.
Good placement record almost 90 percent placement

Dislikes

Sports ground is not available for 1st year.
In 1st year u have to walk. Alot for classes as shortest path is not allowed for freshers
Regular classes. Saturday ko v classes hoti h 🥲🥲

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opt for civil engineering. This is the best Engineering college in jharkhand and one of the oldest. Placement record is also very nice almost 70+ companies visit every year. Professors are also very humble and helpful

The campus and the greenery is the best thing in the college
The hostel Life is best in college I loved it the most
The faculty and the teaching is very good

Dislikes

Sometimes it's not safe to visit certain area alone
Open campus is I think I don't like that

When you are in the 7th semester, you are eligible for campus placements. Various companies like Cognizant, Adani, LNT, etc. visit our campus. Almost all students get placed in college. After getting the degree, I want to go for higher studies in IITs.

It’s Affordability The Office Is Very Very Low And You Get A Good Chance To Get scholarship.
Well Equipped Labs And Technical Equipments In The college.
Helpful Faculty Members And Their Availability At Any time.

Dislikes

It’s Sports Facilities Or A Much Of degrade.
It Has A Bit Of Senior Junior Culture, But There Is No Ragging In college.
As This Is An Open Campus, Animal Grazing Is A Bad imfluence.

Placement Experience:

All big companies come here and offer great packages, as can be seen in the placements report. The internship process happens in a single day with PI and GDs. The CV preparation takes time as it is a cumbersome process.

Likes

The course fee of BIT Sindri is very much affordable for students with low financial conditions.
The placement opportunities provided by college is pretty much good

Dislikes

If you are a sport living person you may be disappointed mainly in first year.
There are not so much opportunities to develop yourseld in other areas as the college is not situated in main town

The placement condition of BIT Sindri is good as almost all students get placed every year with an average package of 7 to 8 lakhs per annum. Various companies attend placement ceremonies such as Tata, Samsung, Vedanta, Accenture, L&T, and many more. In the year 2023, the highest placement was up to 20 lahks per annum on campus and up to 50 lakhs per annum off campus. Up to 800 offers were made. Students can start getting placed in the final year of their college.

campus placement is good infrastructure is developing day by day.
campus is very much exploring we will get knowledge in everyfield whether it is related to academics or not seniors guide us properly for the campus placements
faculty are really well experienced they have proper knowledge in every they are helping in nature and they take care of us properly.

Dislikes

professonalism is something which is more in this college there are many rules and regulation inside the college.
attendance is mandatory inside the college.
exam papers are too hard and it is difficult cutting of electricity before 1 day of exam is common which teaches us to study before the exam.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements many students get ppo after their internship there is 100% campus placement students are eligible for the core sector and it sector as well.

Club culture which helps us to learn many thing
Placement is best. Giving 100% placement
The experience of the faculty members which also creates a good atmosphere for many.

Dislikes

The strict senior culture. Which sometime gets harassed
Wifi less campus. You can individually take the wifi but there is centralised wifi
Line cuts stays for more than 1 - 1.5 hours

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year Placements start. Companies like Vedanta, TCS, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Steel, Delloite, Cognizant, Samsung etc are the main recruiters. The highest package offered is 15 - 16 lacs an average of 6.5 lakhs. 100% placement takes place. The main point is ROI. Is more than 150% - 200 %

Green college clean college

Likes

College placement is very good and different jobs opportunity were provided
Less monthly expenses so that everyone can afford
Green campus and clean campusand lots of space .

Dislikes

Distance from main city and sindri is quite polluted .
Quite less markets and malls here due to rural area.
Availability of good products and markets.

There is one very good think about my college is that Here campus place is very good about 100 percentage. With this low cost and different scholarships facilities and different internships are provided here .

My review on BIT Sindri

Likes

The placement scenario is quite good for both and tech.
The interaction between seniors and Juniors can be good.
It has a great campus area of around 450 acres.

Dislikes

The environment is quite backward as it is located in tier-3 city
Sometimes the interaction between seniors and Juniors become very serious.
The dress code which 1st year has to follow.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is quite good. Provide opportunities in both core and tech domains. There is 100 percent placement in our college for all the branches. Students can apply for campus placement from the 7th sem.

My experience in BIt Sindri

Likes

Placements is good in both core and tech domains
The seniors are really cooperative and helpful.
It can provide good opportunities even after being in a tier -3 city.

Dislikes

The environment, because it is located in tier-3 city.
The dress code for first year, which seems not good as it is an engineering college.an
Sometimes the rules and regulations become really annoying.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is standard. Chemical Engineering has high scope. Our college has good placements for the core section. The teachers here are highly qualified and teach up to the mark. Exams are conducted for each semester, 2 mid-seems and then the end sem.

From what I’ve heard from my friend who is currently a student of BIT Sindri, there is ample time for students to prepare for exams like UPSC, GATE, etc.

The area of the campus is about 400 acres. BIT Sindri is a good engineering college and is located in the town of Sindri which is 25km from the city of Dhanbad.
BIT Sindri has a total of 26 hostels for boys and girls. The different departments of the college are allotted their own buildings for their classes and activities.
There is an auditorium on the campus. There have been some reports of ragging, though, in the first and second years.
The best departments in the institute by far are mining and metal because of good placements.
Lately, a number of good companies are visiting the campus so the statistics of placements are improving by the day. The average CTC has been recorded to be 4.51 LPA while the highest salary is 10.12 LPA.

The institute also holds an enviable rank amongst other engineering institutes of Jharkhand.
