It's like I have paid Rs. 7000 during my admission that includes my first year fees like tution fees admission fees,lab fees and all.... After that it's my second year also my final year because I am doing DMLT it's for 2 year so I have paid near about 6700 something in college as my second year fees... Calicut Medical College - an ideal place to learn and grow as a doctor

I have not taken any employment during my undergraduate years. The tuition fee is about ?21,000 per annum which accounts to a total of about ?1,05,000 which has to be paid in 5 deposits each year. Other miscellaneous fee and hostel fee accounts to a total of about ?60,000. There was also an admission fee of about ?30,000. Therefore it all sums up to a total of 3 lakhs including all extra fees. There are scholarships available for financially challenged and caste reservation students like SC, ST and OBC such as MOMA scholarship. There is also stipend during internship which is ?27,000 per month now.

Though there is case exposure there is no stress on clinical skills in the academics mainly theory part is given focus
The stress on theory part is so high as the number of theory exams is so much when compared to clinical practicals

The fees for the mbbs course is comparatively less also the hostel fees is also less which is to be paid annually but financial assistances in the form of various scholarships are available....during the internship program about 25k per month is provided

Since this is a government college, the annual fee is around 20,000 INR and if you come under any reservations like SC, ST ,etc it can be reduced to 1000 or 2000 INR something. The main scholarships which everyone gets is the egrantz.
