You can experience the best college life here. The college offers excellent academics, and the teachers are highly experienced and teach exceptionally well. The college has good resources to make your learning easier.
Now, regarding extracurricular activities: we have numerous platforms to showcase your talents, whether in sports, arts, or any other field. Intrabatch and intercollege competitions are organized every year.
The teachers uses modern technology and resources to make teaching more effective. The patient load here is very high and you can see a variety of cases here.

Dislikes

There are many hostel buidings for the college.. But some of the hostels are of poor infrastructure and facilities.

Internships Opportunities:

The college offers internship after 4.5 years of MBBS.You will be paid a monthly stipend of around 26k.The internship provides the best oppurtunity to learn a lot of things,do procedures,and assist surgeries.The internship here is bit hectic but you will get a good exposure.

Arts and Cultural fests are celebrated very well.

Dislikes

Irregular Exam timings and late result publication.
No wifi and internet facility is provided in classrooms.
Lack of amenities like college auditorium.

Internships Opportunities:

The course is composed of compulsory internship which is of 6 months which gives training in all areas of pharmacology.No stipend is provided during internship.Total of 20 leaves are allowed during internship If we take extra leave it will cost an extension of 3 days for one leave.

Lack of permanent faculty in several department.

Internship is compulsory and comprises of 12 months. The students will get good clinical exposure as there are almost 300 patients visiting ophthalmology department daily.No stipend is provided from the University.

Best Clinical Exposure.Calicut is the place where patients from 5 district of north kerala comes.So we get exposed to all sort of cases.Different anomalies and rare conditions etc.
State of Art Equipments.The college owns the best Health Care equipments in the markets.
Best Teachers from the crowd.The Professors and Faculty of Calicut Medical College is selected after a number of selections processes.So their knowledge in respective areas of interest is wide and helpful in our academics.

Dislikes

No stipend during internship days.We have 7-8 hrs of duty shift in our internship days.But college doesnt provide any stipend.
The amount of free time is less.We will be on our busy posting schedules
Strength of the class is very low as there are only 4 students intake per year.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is of compulsory mode and consist of one year full time rotatory internship which provide hands on experience on all technical aspects.Duty shifts are of Day,Night and on call duties.We will have To 3 night duty we will get one day off.And we will have 20 casual leave during our internship period.

The faculties are good and they are very well experienced. They are very professional in their field.
The labs are well maintained and all kinds of technical support is been provided in lab.
The campus is well maintained and clean. The environment of the campus is good.

Internships Opportunities:

This college is a government college so it is attached with a hospital. It is one of the biggest college in Kerala and I think it comes under second position in Kerala and everyday there use to be a huge number of patients in the hospital and we students get the chance to work in lab and get real life experience...

Interesting course and college with lots of highly skilled and talented faculties that provide seamless flow of knowledge and expertise
Beautiful and big college campus with almost 270 acres spread in Central township
Special priority to pe and health education with grounds am facilities for more than a dozen of games

Dislikes

Campus is still have issues with outside population and need to be closed
Waste disposal and campus cleanliness needs more care and work
Hostels and buildings are obsolete and needs refurbishment

Internships Opportunities:

Intership is a must do with rotational departments taken in our mbbs duration It lasts 12 months with adequate payment Work varies from clerical to assisting major operations and procedures Intership is very much useful in using the theoretical knowledge gained in the 4.5 year duration

With the huge patient load, faculties have less time to focus on teaching
Lack of adequate infrastructure to facilitate learning of 250 students

Internships Opportunities:

We don't usually work under companies during internship. We are posted in different departments, which changes rotationally. Due to the huge patient load, intership work is quite hectic, with little or no time to sleep everyday. We have take long shifts which can at a time extend to 72 hours. Our stipend is about ? 27,000 per month

Case exposure is high as wards are always full
Even if syllabus is vast there is place for enjoyment through programs arranged at college

Dislikes

Though there is case exposure there is no stress on clinical skills in the academics mainly theory part is given focus
Classes could be made more interesting and interactive
The stress on theory part is so high as the number of theory exams is so much when compared to clinical practicals

Internships Opportunities:

The internship is provided by the college itself after the completion of 4 years of undergraduate course.. students are posted both at various departments in the college as well as in the nearby PHCs. The stipend offered is 25k per month and efforts are being taken for the stipend hike by 5%

Lack of facilities to accommodate this huge number of patients
Highly competitive behaviour of peers which makes us more vulnerable

Internships Opportunities:

There' isn't any internship for B.sc MLT. But we'll be having clinical rotations in all departments (necessary) from our second year onwards. Clinical pathology ,clinical biochemistry, clinical microbiology, Histopathology, Cytology, Blood Bank, Serology, Mycology, Dermatology, and MRU are the major posting centers.

In MBBS 1 year compulsory intership must be done in your own college. We get experience in all the aspects of this job. We have to work in all the departments of the hospital. Rs 26000 is currently provided to an intern per month.
