Basically it is a government medical college. So when you are going to take admission to the college you are paying 6 months fees There are some extra charges as admission fees and session fees. Monthly fees is about 760 If you take hostel it's 12 rupees per month electricity and water including So at the time of admission you pay 760*6 =4,560+1000+11=5,571 +12*6= 6583 Session fess is kind of processing fees which is about 11 rupees per 6 months After 6 months you pay again for 1 year Then again Total fees paid is 40950 Since it has 9 semesters You can apply for various scholarships also Which vary from 60k per per year to 30k per year Common one is SVMCM criteria 60 percent overall

IIn first year you have to pay like 15 k in entire year.the fees is same for all categories.the Hostel charges are very minimum like 12 ruppes per month.but you have to pay for the food.inMBBS ( Gov ) colleges u will not get any such scholarships provided by the medical Colleges, But you can apply for Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship provided by West Bengal Government .(60000/tr)

There is no such considerable hike in tution fee price, atleast in Govt medical colleges of WB. Complete cost( including fooding, accommodation, books and stationary, laptop, internet, college fees, etc gets covered within about 4 lakhs, for 4.5 yrs. After which we receive stipend of 31000 pm during internship.) The expenditure however varies from person to person. Swami Vivekanand Merit Cum Means Scholarship is available (GoWB project) Student Credit Card Facility available ( Govt of West Bengal undertaking) Other scholarships for minority upliftment.
