- The College itself is a great college 100 years old one
- This college is having bigger campus then any other peripheral college of West Bengal
- Scope of opportunity Even reasearch is possible
Dislikes
- BSMC is located in Bankura which is not so city area but 40 mins far away is Durgapur
- Teachers are strict very strict, so if you don’t study enough you may fail
Internships Opportunities:
This most interesting thing after having 4.5 years of MBBS, you are going to have a one year of internship in which you get a stipend of about 30,000 and invest Bengal stipend is maximum which is highest in any state
The internship that you are undergoing is only occurring after completing the 4.5 years of MBBS and you are doing it under the government of West Bengal in the health department

- Our college campus is good and huge with a playground
- Our college faculty is truly good and helpful
- There are well maintained demonstration room in our college

- Food is prepared in unhygienic way in mess
- Underdeveloped and poor and old building
- Ragging from siniors is a big problem in our college
Internships Opportunities:
In GNM course....there is 2 years 6 months course and 6 months internship....in internship students are oriented with all the wards of hospital by rotating roster .... scholarship will given after completing the course

- Campus is too huge , also there’s a playground

- Hostel is underdeveloped and garbages is found anywhere
- Canteen food is unhygenic type and the kitchen should wash weekly
- Some students of hostel make irritation to their juniors

Internships Opportunities:
After passing final year exams, we will get entry in internship program in hospital.
Then the duty hours would be around 7-8 hrs daily to opd or emergency care unit..
After ending of internship, we can get entry of housestaffship

- Environment of our college is friendly and peaceful
- We have very friendly senior and junior relationship
- Teaching faculties are very helpful and cooperative

- Maintenance system of our college is not very good
- Security system is not much helpful and cooperative
- College campus is not well maintained and clean
Internships Opportunities:
It is an MBBS course so we get internship in our own college, it is very hectic as the patient load is more comparing other areas
The amount of stipend is good
We don't get extra projects or something

- Internal Politics Least Active,So no pressure from any political party
- Library Opened till 8 Pm with Super cool ACs
- Huge patient Load,so huge experience,2nd highest patient afyer SSKM and IIPGMER
Dislikes
- Campus is dirty,Litters here and there,even many throwh gutkas inside campus
- Hostels not well maintained, Dogs even do potty inside the hostel
- Bathrooms for 1st year is horrible,No proper hygiene maintained,no space for latrins
Internships Opportunities:
Internship is mandatory at tge end of 4.5 yrs for 1 yr with a monthly internship of 30-32k ,but the duties are tooo hectic, sometimes ot lasts for 48hrs continuous duty,this intereship is made by govt and it is mandatory to get the degree of mbbs

- The heritage of our college.. It was the first swadeshi medical school established in 1922
- The high patient load from that we can learn a lot
- Academic results in various pg exams are very good from our college
Dislikes
- The weather is extreme whether it's winter or summer
- as our college is very old the non clinical lab equipments are old too
Internships Opportunities:
There is a government funded mandatory internship for one year.
They will give you stipend around 28k per month
You will be posted on different wards on hospital.
It will be an amazing experience treating real patients

- Academics( Teacher student interaction)....
- Ward Postings during Clinics, there is a huge patient load to be learnt from
- Central Library, the Reading rooms, the huge collection of books which are present
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is slightly poor in auditorium
- Lack of sanitation at few places, but maintaining cleanliness is also a part of our duty as students
Internships Opportunities:
I am Not at internship level yet. Its just after final year.
After final year, students are mandatorily compelled to a year of inetrnship, which offers duties at every ward. Stipend of about 30000 INR per month is provided as well during internship.

- Well the infrastructure and patient load are excellent with experienced faculties in respective departments

- The campus is not well defined and can definitely use some cleaning
Internships Opportunities:
After the course duration of 4.5years the college itself provides internship and the pay and learning opportunities are well above average. Seniors helps a lot and the professors are also very cooperative

- College building ground. Faculty memebers.
- Placement are very good. I like also our library.
Dislikes
- Nothing i dislike as much but hostel meal i dislike.
- College timing starts in very morning . 7:30 am so i dislike.
- Ward duty i like. But 5 hrs standing is hard.
Internships Opportunities:
Many hospitals as nursing officers, and many nursing schools as clinical instructors or teachers offered after completing this course. 5000 stipend is given at the time of the internship. Projects like various types of patient care.

- Our college faculty is so helpful in our study any many things
- Our campus is little bit small but it's ok.... It's nice

- The timing of the college.... It's 7:30 in morning
Internships Opportunities:
Our college has its own hospital. We practice our profession there. From the first year to the fourth year each and every student practice there it is a very helpful thing in our course. And the hospital is so close to our college
