- Campus is dirty,Litters here and there,even many throwh gutkas inside campus
- Hostels not well maintained, Dogs even do potty inside the hostel
- Bathrooms for 1st year is horrible,No proper hygiene maintained,no space for latrins
Course Curriculum Overview
Mbbs js difficult,i choose mbbs mainly because of job security+parents wish of becoming parents of doctor+Respect that the doctors get in the society,i would suggest that mbbs in india should have much more time because in such less time each and every concepts can't be grasped nicely
Internships Opportunities
Internship is mandatory at tge end of 4.5 yrs for 1 yr with a monthly internship of 30-32k ,but the duties are tooo hectic, sometimes ot lasts for 48hrs continuous duty,this intereship is made by govt and it is mandatory to get the degree of mbbs
Fees and Financial Aid
During admission they take around Rs 6583,then at the end of the year including fees for semester of 2nd year they take around 9.5k also for WBUHS registration they take around 4.5k, Scholarship is around 60k (SVMCM) Eligibility: yearly income less than 2.4 lakhs and 60% jn Higher Secondary Examination for residents of West Bengal Only,For SC ST there is also A scholarship namef OASIS
Campus Life
Campus life is not so awesome,synapse is the fest of bsmc apart from this freshers party are also arranged vy seniors,each and every book available in library, Technologies used are very old simce it's a very old college, badminton cricket and football are the active sports playef im bsmc
Admission
My home is around 1 km from BSMC, Secondly after mck and sskm ,bsmc has the most disciplined class environment+bankura is not a smart town so chances of distraction is also less,if i could get mck or sskm i would choose them because they are ofc better than bsmc,but i could not get them because of my marks
Faculty
The faculties are highly experienced but there is a shortage of favulties,for example no. Of faculties for microbiology is around 5-6 where as around 14-15 faculties required for a batvh strength of 200,There are 3 semester im 1st year and in succesive years , semester marks doesn't matter,The main matters is proff exam which is about 900 marks of which 50% marks required to get pass,around 38-42 students get supple each yeat, Faculties are easily approachable,You can ask whatever doubt you have they are very much friendly
