The heritage of our college.. It was the first swadeshi medical school established in 1922
The high patient load from that we can learn a lot
Academic results in various pg exams are very good from our college

Dislikes

The weather is extreme whether it's winter or summer
as our college is very old the non clinical lab equipments are old too

From this profession we can save others lives I have not that audacity to suggest something for this course The exam frequency is very high there will me multiple internal exams but at the end of the year there is a professional exam

Internships Opportunities

There is a government funded mandatory internship for one year. They will give you stipend around 28k per month You will be posted on different wards on hospital. It will be an amazing experience treating real patients

Campus Life

The annual cultural fest is Synapse.. It is held on September every year... There is a annual academic fest Artemis which is also held prior to the synapse There is also some other cultural festival is held on our college like saraswati puja, pre diwali celebrations etc

There will be one room for 3 people They will provide you one bed, mattress, table, light fan The hostel rent is very low It's 12 rs per month There are many PGs around there this will charge around 2k per month

You should have 75% on your 12th standard You have to give neet exam for this course The neet 2025 examination form will be available on nov-dec most probably You have to be prepared for this exam One of the toughest exams of India

Course Curriculum Overview:

Medical field is a really good field in my opinion to serve humankind and learn about science of nature and life!the curriculum is a little overpaced and there are 19 subjects which are taught in a timespan of 4.5 years which is a bit hectic! There are 4 professional exams and 9 semesters which have pretty good difficulty and assess our skills and education. We have regular examinations in around 4-5 months each. Only thing id like to change in the curriculum is better assessment of many topics which are taught pretty well but aren't examined much leading us to waste our time in focussing on them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, mbbs is very hard and long term process. You will be bored in 1st year because you cant get real clinical cases. But in Final year, 3rd Prof Part 2, you will get huge pressure. Because there are total 11 subjects, you should study in final year. It is a great burden for all. I'm not satisfied with Nmc curriculum. They are not thinking about students. They are implement their rules in chilled ac room. But they don't know the real scenarios.

For getting admission into BSMC you have to give the neat UG examination. If I am correctly, sure that all India cut-off of the categories student was about about nearly about. nearly about 15,000 aiq first state quota category. It was about 24,000. After giving the need you will have a scorecard the scorecard it it will give your AIR from AIR. You can go through counselling counselling occurs in two process. Once when is the India category counselling and one state state counselling category first state counselling category, you have to belong from the state of West Bengal and after some of the colleges of Kolkata, for example, medical College Kolkata SSKMNRS RJ Kaur CMSDH and only one of the peripheral College Bardhaman, because on it is only preferred because only of the location area.
