The new college campus is too good ... especially the lecture theatres , auditorium, playground .... Different canteens at different buildings (boys, girl's, and academic)

Dislikes

Connectivity to the main road is bad.... No proper road is there to connect it with the highway..... The weather is too harsh here , i.e too hot in summer (40-42?c) and too cold in winter (4-5?c)
The distance from the campus to the hospital is around 3-4 km....which is difficult to manage... although college provide bus for students in college hours
Due to poor connectivity.... There's no proper place for dinner or lunch or breakfast.... Although canteen is there but all knows the food quality of canteen!!!

Admission:

Being a government college admission in MBBS is only through clearing the NEET(ug) exam, cutoff is around 620 now. Whenever I got admission it was around 516 . All knows compitition is getting hard nowadays

RGMCH: A COLLEGE WITH LOTS OF EMOTIONS

Likes

Helpful batchmates, seniors are there in our college.
The college is well maintained and clean.

Dislikes

College is situated in village, so we can't get the exposure of city.
There is transport problem as the road is not in well condition.

Admission:

Eligibility for the MBBS course is NEET exam.application form for NEET exam can be availed in NTA website. Application fees is Rs. 1700/-. General-EWS and OBC-NCL candidates are required to pay Rs. 1600/-. For SC, ST, PH, and Third gender candidates, the examination fee is only Rs. 1000/-.Under the AIQ, 15% of the total seats in government medical colleges across the country and rest 85% is from state quota. 10% OBCA , 7% OBC B , 10% EWS, 15% SC and 6% ST reservation is there.My admission was in the year 2022 , admission process was smooth. It was made easy through helpful seniors. The marksheet , certificate, caste certificate, birth certificate and other identity cards were required. After that those were verification in the students' section. Admission process is improving continuously through students' support. Each year 100 students are taking admission in MBBS course. Admission process is purely offline. You must be present in the college on official dates.

Raiganj medico

Admission:

Eligibility of the course is 50 percent in the 12th board. I found the application form from nta website. I went to a cyber cafe and did my fill-up. Application fees are 1500 rs. No benefits of my reservation are found to me, there is only a 1 or 2 marks difference between the general quota and obc cut-off. I want some improvement in the admission process in MBBS that the reservation system should be deducted.

Detailed review of Raiganj Govt medical college

Admission:

It should be more smooth and in a more stepwise manner. And the administration is very good. The Eligibility is NEET marks. The staffs are supportive but a bit slow for the job. Overall the admission process was good but it took the entire day standing in the queue.

Overall a good medical college.

Admission:

I gave NEET exam in 2019, to get a MBBS seat. The cut-off for general category was 580 marks for All India Quota. After neet result, through counselling process this college was allotted. Usually 2 rounds of counselling takes place.
