This reputation can be very helpful when applying for jobs or higher studies abroad. Affordable Fees : As a government institution, IIT BHU has much lower fees compared to BITS Pilani, which is a private institution. This makes IIT BHU more affordable for students. High Return on Investment (ROI): Due to its lower fees and excellent placements,  IIT BHU has a higher ROI. Students of IIT BHU invest comparatively less money in their education, but they receive high-paying jobs after graduation. Ans. According to me, opting for IIT BHU for CSE is a better choice as compared to BITS Pilani. IIT BHU is well-recognized nationwide for offering excellent academic standards and research opportunities that help students grow careers. IIT BHU offers four four-year BTech programs for CSE, and the average fee for the first year is around INR 2.27 LPA . IIT BHU offers one of the best placements to the students amongst the IITs. In 2023 474 offers and 305 PPOs were made. The domestic highest package is INR 1.68 CPA and the international highest package is INR 77 LPA .Read more

Ans. CSE in IIT BHU is good. The institute has one of the largest alumni bases for the CSE branch in the country. The placement averages around 100% for CSE students. The domestic average salary package for the branch is 25 LPA. The placement statistics of CSE in IIT BHU are comparable to the top 7 IITs in the country.  The coding culture on campus is quite active. The programming club holds workshops and competitions around the academic year. Since academics aren’t that demanding at IIT BHU, you will get enough time to pursue other technical and co-curricular activities.  For CSE, ragging is completely non-existent. Ans.  Instead of recommending any specific institute, there are some myths that need to be debunked first: Placements at one institute are better than the other. BHU has a wider network. IITG has a cooler administration. You must compare the two courses based on the following features: Academic research Placement statistics Competitive coding Open-source development Other club activities Climate and geography Connectivity (and distance from hometown) If you're specifically interested in CSE, then the first four points are almost equal for both BHU and Guwahati. When it comes to the other points, IITG has a better climate, while Varanasi may be better connected and nearer to your hometown. Ans. NIT Calicut stands among the top NITs where you will get a lot of exposure to extracurricular activities. As it’s a government college, the fees will be relatively low as compared to private universities like VIT Vellore.  On the other hand, VIT Vellore isn’t that great institute plus being a private institute the fees is quite high for most middle-class students. If you choose Mechanical here then you can go for two different paths.  The first path is to go for mechanical core, in which you will get ample research opportunities every now and then. However, the placement scenario will not be that great and you might get some PSUs as campus recruiters for mechanical jobs. The second path is to go for IT Jobs regardless of your mechanical branch.  For this, you need to start doing regular coding and relevant skills to compete during the placement rounds. Most of the students are placed by mass recruiters, Although many reputed companies hire but very few students get placed by them. Ans. The CSE department is a great department to study in VIT. Students are open to a lot of facilities and learning resources. The teaching staff is helpful as well.  The CSE department of VIT ranks right after top IITs, IIIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, and the top NITs. The department is well-reputed in the industry. VIT has a great research culture. The course curriculum is industry-oriented.  The coding culture at VIT is thriving. CSE students from the institute do great in GSoC, ACM ICPS, and other competitions.  There’s a great startup ecosystem on campus at VIT. Many people are doing great things in Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.  You do not need to worry much about placement if you have joined VIT. In the 2021 placement drive, the highest CTC offered was 75 LPA.  So, choosing VIT for your CSE degree will definitely be worth it. Read more

Ans. CSE in IIIT Dharwad is a better option to opt for. As of now, they don't have a permanent campus but they will have their campus soon. See, there are pros and cons of every college/institute. Somewhere you might find one thing and another might be equipped with another better thing. IIIT Dharwad also has some pros and cons.  Cons: Don't have their permanent campus as of now and the temporary campus is also not that good. You have to pick your peer group very wisely because the type of people you choose will become your peer group. Pro The institute in which you will be studying is of national importance which is controlled by MHRD. It has a good reputation just like any other IITs/NITs. You will get the mentorship of some experienced faculties as PhD is mandatory for all the faculties here. Dharwad is quite close to Bangalore so you can get good placement opportunities. The campus of IIIT Dharwad will be really amazing. The facilities like hostel and mess are better in comparison to any other college/institutes. If you are a sports lover, you will have many sports facilities like cricket, football, basketball etc. And most importantly, you will have the brand name of IIIT which really matters. Ans. Considering this question, the first thing that can be highlighted is that both of these institutes cannot be compared at all. However, studying IT in IIIT Allahabad is far better as it offers several opportunities, as well as institutional environment and infrastructure to assist the student in their career growth appropriately. However, CSE at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is not so secure considering the programming prospects and study culture that the student will get at IIITA.
