Fees
- Back in 2021, when I got my addmission the total program fee I calculated was 40000 to 45000 CAD with an additional 10000 CAD GIC. But now the program fees have increased, and the GIC amount has risen to 20000 CAD.

- The course curriculum is diverse. There are ample of career paths one can pursue after this degree.
Dislikes
- The University is based out of Halifax, which is a small city. Most of the students have to look for jobs in other provinces and relocate after graduation. This can be tedious and also costly as one would have to pay for the basic setup in a different city.
Overview
Overall, my experience has been great at Dalhousie University. The course curriculum they offered and the Professors putting in some efforts to really see their students excel is something very rare. The university also offers a good health infrastructure to its students when needed. I have learnt a lot from my experience and that is indicated on my profile as I have such clear understanding of the concepts which I can apply in my professional experience.
Campus Life
The entire campus has high speed internet connectivity. There are 2-3 libraries which provide excellent selection of books to learn from. There is also a huge playground for football, 2-3 open tennis courts and their very own sports complex which consists of gym, badminton courts, basketball courts, rock climbing, squash courts, swimming pool, indoor running track and much more!

- Dalhousie is reputed institute of Canada. It provides updated knowledge within current industry. MACS program also has COOP term which a good start to career development.
- Streamlined curriculum, focused on trending stacks. They performed curriculum review every two years and updates the curriculum effectively. University campus is also so friendly you can have anytime conversation with professors. They always stays present.
Dislikes
- Some mandatory courses I think is not useful for all. Not all students will like to attend data management course for example. Apart from that I think course content is good and effective if one likes or have interest
Overview
Overall I had good exposure with University. I have seen growth in my knowledge as well as in communication specifically when it comes to technical talk. University offers an opportunity where we need to present our work in front of leaders, and tell about the invention we did. It is really helpful.
Campus Life
I joined the university while pandemic period. So wasn’t able to explore campus life. But overall it is good, university is in halifax, very quite and nature friendly city.
Overview
I did my own research. I got to know this is one of the colleges where I can apply from my range of marks. But this was the last in my last to go. I have applied to many universities like Waterloo, Alberta. According to my score, I was pretty confident that I would get into a better university for sure. Dalhousie was last in my list, but I got admission here. So I got to know the flavor of competition going on in Canada.
Campus Life
It has so many facilities. We have so many clubs like dance club, ted talk club, and coding community. The gym is superb. The standard of equipment is very high. They maintain it so well. They hire around 1000 members to maintain the entire sports community. 1000 members are from Dalhousie university, students are the ones, who are doing part-time there to maintain the entire sports community.
Overview
It is in a city that I have visited and wanted to live in and it is a very strong research school. I only applied to this school but I applied to several different programs within the school. I performed well academically in high school so I appreciate the challenge of some of the courses at this school.
Fees
My tuition is about $9000 a year. I got a government student loan and was not awarded any scholarships as I am a transfer student. The school does offer bursaries that students can apply for once every semester and they can help offset some costs. They are given out based on financial need. I applied for one this semester.
