- The academic programs are really good, providing hands own knowledge.

Course Curriculum
- The courses need a little updating. Taking into consideration the pace at which the industry is growing with AI.
- You could take part in different events organized by the computer science department. Apart from that, there are numerous communities and organisations for the students.
- The class schedules are relaxed. Although the assignments would take up your time.
- In my batch, there was an average of 100 students. The number of students in each class would depend on the course selection.
Admission Experience
- Dalhousie University is one of the top universities in Canada. The location was also a main reason I chose the university. Overall I had a great experience.
- My IELTS score was 8.5. And I had 4 years of professional experience. I had an interview, which I cleared.
Faculty
- I had the privilege to attend lectures of some great professors. Especially Shrini Samplalli and Lu Yang.
Campus Life
- Top-level campus infrastructure and facilities. Numerous extracurricular activities and clubs to participate in.
Part Time Jobs
- The basic hourly salary is 15CAD for part-time. They could apply for part-time through internal university portals or direct visits. Not many students secure positions like TS, RA, or DA
Placement
- The placements depend on the economy and the demand for jobs in Canada.
- An average salary of 75k could be expected.
- Students usually find jobs through referral or online recruiting platforms.
Accommodation
- I found apartments through Facebook Marketplace. I paid a monthly rent of 2500 CAD for a 2 BHK in Halifax
Exams
- IELTS alone is good. And previous experience worked for me.
Fees
- It was around 30 Lakhs INR for a 16-month course.
