- ASU has a strong academic reputation and good programs in engineering and business
- Research opportunities helps students to access cutting edge projects along with waiving off the tuition fee.
- The infrastructure is good and always access to gym, pools, grounds.
Dislikes
- ASU has large student population , it makes classes feel crowded sometimes, especially master's classrooms are filled with Indians.
- Tuition fee is expensive for international students unless you get a scholarship.
- Summers are very hot in Arizona, personally I didn't like them.
- I opted for off-campus accommodation. I googled the nearest apartments to the university and found a few friends on Whatsapp university groups to share the accommodation. Total monthly rent for the whole apartment, i.e., 2 bed 2 bath, is around $2000. It includes rent, water bill, Garbage etc. Electricity bill will be around $120.
- Make sure you share a room with your course batchmates; it will be easier to do assignments & prepare for the exams. there are few communities that are mostly filled with Indians, like Volta on Broadway, Agave apartments, DPV etc. My accommodation is 2 miles away from the University.

- High tuition fees and more scholarship options for international students.
- Public universities means huge intake hence more competition and fight among the part time opportunities.
- A lot of paperwork and formalities for each and every thing.
- I live off-campus, very close to the university. A friend recommended a WhatsApp group where people post accommodation listings. I found my place through that group. The monthly rent is $350, and the facilities include access to a pool and nearby laundry rooms—that’s pretty much it.
- One of the challenges I faced was not being able to view the place in person, as I had to secure accommodation before arriving in the U.S. Fortunately, my apartment is very close to campus, and there are free shuttle buses for students, which makes commuting easy.

- Professors are genuinely helpful and open to discussions beyond class hours.
- The libraries and study spaces are great — open late, peaceful, and well-equipped.

- Online platforms like apartments.com and other websites give a good overview of the housing. Many WhatsApp groups also provide opportunities to look for roommates and coordinate with them. Reaching out to property managers because of timing differences is a bit of a challenging task while searching for accommodation.

- The heat during the summers is very bad, Arizona has one of the highest temperatures during the summers.
- ASU caters to a huge Indian crowd which is why it might get a bit competitive in some places.
- One of the issue is extra or enough seats available for popular subjects.
- There are many online websites present that help to find the perfect accommodation that you are looking for. Some challenges that I faced were finding the right roommates. This was a big challenge for me as I did not know anyone at ASU so I had to talk to a lot of people and then finalize my roommates.

- University is not just famous for coursework but also is very good at conducting events and parties at school which motivates us to work hard during weekdays and enjoy ourselves on weekends from university organized events . Overall we have a happy life at ASU as a student.
Dislikes
- Nothing about the university but the location is very hot .Except for the weather, everything is best in ASU.
ASU is very good with its coursework especially for masters in Electrical Engineering ,along with the faculty who were experts in this particular domain. Also the labs and cleanrooms in this university were ranked in top list which would help me gain practical knowledge. ASU is a very good university with super diversification and excellent coursework provided with world's best faculty to guide every individual.
Arizona state University was offering me a variety of courses and flexibility to choose courses from multiple fields. It paved way for a very flexible and diverse coursework. The overall experience is truly amazing, with great faculty, infrastructure and diversity. You sure will learn a lot about life when you come here for masters and it is going to be tough in the start. But it is all going to be worth it.

- The Course work and also the prospects in terms of career and opportunities.
- The environment and the cultural diversity along with the activities and the vast area of four campuses present. I personally like the library which looks like a world of its own with art work, labs, and games.
Dislikes
- The lack of widespread medium for information on a few important things like the scholarships or any student aid, on the whole, this is the only thing that bummed me out and there's nothing more than this to complain about
Overall it was wonderful experience and also very challenging. there were occasions where I had to mentally strong to cope up with the ever changing scenarios and the keep with the fast paced academics and coursework while maintaining my personal life, all in a well balanced scale.

- I liked the courses offered here at ASU, I felt they were very relevant. I was very interested in environmental sciences, during my final year project, I was working on a research project that grew my interest in the field. Given the current climate crisis, water crisis, pollution etc I felt it's something I should study and know about.
- ASU has a lot of opportunities to grow and expand one's skill set in especially in specialized areas of study. The curriculum is designed in a way that helps students focus more on conceptual understanding and practical application as opposed to marks/grades being the focus. I personally feel soft skills like presentational skills, public speaking, technical writing, etc are also incorporated very well into the curriculum, contributing to holistic growth. There are abundant opportunities to get involved in research projects and professors are super helpful! There are regular career fairs, seminars, networking sessions, certification courses, and cultural events. It totally depends on your major, the courses offered, and the specific major's curriculum and requirements. But all in all, it's an amazing place to study!
Dislikes
- I honestly do not dislike anything about ASU. It has everything that makes it one of the best universities in the United States. There's flexibility in what courses you want to take, you can decide what your schedule is like, and you have a lot of freedom when it comes to academic.
I'd say it's very exciting, there's always something new to learn, something you've never done, and opportunities are plenty, There's a holistic development process that one goes through I guess, not only at the university but also otherwise, managing household stuff, managing your money and time. There's no one to do your stuff for you, so it really puts you to work!
