- The first year was on-campus housing. There are a lot of options outside as well. Sharing rent can range between $350-650 based on the community you choose. If not, there are a lot of apartments for private rooms as well.

- However, with so many students, its highly competitive to get the courses you want. Also unlike other top colleges, the dedicated hiring from big tech is very limited to none here.
- So be aware if you are coming for job guarantee.
- You can get a good 2B2B around campus (20 min commute) for 1800-2000 USD. It generally includes a refrigerator, microwave, oven, induction stoves, washing machine, and dryer.

- Career Counseling: Many students find the advice generic or not specialized enough for their field, and the services can feel understaffed.
- Safety at Night: The urban campuses can have some safety concerns at night, students are advised to be very aware of their surroundings.
- I found my accommodation through WhatsApp and Facebook groups; those student housing groups are super active around ASU. My rent was around $450/month, including utilities, Wi-Fi, and laundry. Biggest challenge was finding a good place quickly since spots fill up fast before the semester starts.
- I'd suggest joining groups early and shortlisting options in advance. I stayed about 10–15 minutes from campus by bike. Most Indian students stay around Apache Blvd or Rural Rd; it’s affordable and close to everything.

- In summers there are tough temperatures to adapt.
- I arranged my accommodation using online websites and student communities on Discord and WhatsApp. My rent was approximately $700–$1,200 per month, which covered utilities such as Wi-Fi and electricity.
- The challenges were high demand and finding a lease without a credit score. I would advise booking in advance and sharing an apartment with roommates.
- My accommodation is 10–15 minutes from campus, and the majority of Indian students reside in surrounding apartments such as Gateway and Villas.

- Too many student intake so it is very hard to cut through competition.
- International Student body not that cooperative for visa related issues .
- Way too much politics in Student bodies which cause non linear opportunities for all .
- I used platforms like Telegram to find groups on whatsapp etc. later from these groups i got to know many of other students from where i got the apartment details.
- I pay around 560 dollars per month and facilities like pool , gym and common area are here . and it is nearby to the campus and there is parking for you vehicle.
- I would say finding groups on telegram and discord will be the most helpful . students coming to asu can look for apartments like Paseo , Hyve and Nexa as they are nearby the campus.

Dislikes
- Student intake is very high, which makes the competition tough
- Really good courses fill up really fast and it is tough to get courses of your choice
- Qualified professors are less in every domain making it hard to collaborate
- I used Facebook market=place , WhatsApp groups of students already there. Kaplan groups and The most problematic thing is finding clean houses, Tempe has a huge problem of bugs, and if the students do not live clean it will have cockroaches in the house.
- When searching for house only take the one with new lease, do not take sub-leased apartments as whatever damage the previous students have done will be on you and you have to pay the charge if you don't find any other new incoming student to sub-lease it.
- Here they have very strict sub-leasing rules and want the house in new condition so only take up a new lease from the apartment. My accommodation is 30 min by walk and 10 mins by bus.
