- No encouragement and consideration for STEM professional at career fairs as all the employers are from the state and hesitant to hire foreign national
- I and the other girl from my department got the job within the first 6 months. As a researcher, I make around 55k/yr with my master's experience; if it's an industry job, it would be more. We found jobs on our own in my field (Life sciences), and there were no consultants to support us. It was a brutal struggle, but I made it through.
