No, I had to take up research and industrial opportunities.
Ph.D. is paid by the university and advisor. No fees to be paid by student. We are paid a stipend of ~$30k/yr
They are pretty challenging but rewarding in the end when you learn all the information
The fees per semester are around $7500

As a freshman coming from an Indian curriculum, I'd say it's in an Intermediate mode so far although hearing my seniors; it takes a pace from the second year and to not be fogged by the illusion of an easy curriculum, in regards to it is still on a good pace, understandable, and very much practical.
13,536 USD for the whole year tuition.

Yes, we were trained for 1 month before exposure to lab regarding SOP of the instrument.
It was wonderful and great. I feel great that I could get the chance to extend to bilateral development and cultural exchange.

It was scary at first moving to a new country and not knowing anything but the welcoming nature and inclusiveness of the people made me feel at home and the curriculum is designed well and had ample opportunities to grow in this environment.

Focused on highly sought after robotics and AI courses like Computer vision, robot sensing and estimation, intelligent robots, Deep learning as well.
Around 55000$.
I think there needs to be more actuarial science related classes to help me on while applying to jobs.
The tuition that I pay is around $10,000 a year. I have loans through Sallie Mae to pay for college. I wasn't awarded any scholarship at UMD because I was a transfer student and there aren't many scholarships available for transfer students. I pay less because I live off-campus so I don't have to pay for dorm.
Depending on the school I would say they have a wide verity. They offer a lot of different courses within the different programs and give every student an opportunity to try other classes within other programs.
It was done per semester, I was charged through my U of M account. I was charged a lot because of tuition, which is higher than most schools
