University of Minnesota - Twin Cities Master of Science in Applied Plant Sciences is a 30 credit program that is on the St. Paul campus, usually taken in 2–2.5 years. Being run by the Departments of Agronomy and Plant Genetics and Horticultural Science, with instructors from the Plant Pathology, Soil Science, and other associated disciplines, it has four specialization tracks: Agronomy/Agroecology, Horticulture, Plant Breeding/Molecular Genetics, and Applied Plant Sciences (General). It provides quantitative and qualitative research abilities, with emphasis on sustainable production of crops, plant genetics, and environmental interactions.
