Good preparation of the placement. Trained you well
The campus life is too good , very close to nature and good studying environment
The faculty is also too good and they interact with students regularly

Dislikes

There is no outer market or places to hangout.

Krea University

Likes

Krea's focus on interdisciplinary approach was highly appreciated as I was allowed to explore various subjects beyond my major, which broadened my perspective and critical thinking skills.
The faculty at Krea are experts in their feild, their teaching methods are engaging and thought provoking.
Campus life at Krea is very vibrant and lively. The university offers a number of clubs,events and activities that makes social interactions very enjoyable.

Dislikes

While the Campus is aesthetically pleasing, some aspects of the infrastructure requires improvement.
The placement service could be functional, some students feel the support for career could be better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The cirriculum includes very practical experiences such as field work and research which is very essential for outside classroom and real world experiences.The cirriculum also prepares students for further academic pursuits by offering a strong foundation in research methodologies and research analysis.

Experience in Ifmr

Likes

The placement committee is helpful. The opportunities are also good.
The hostel facilities are great. The food is also better than a lot of colleges with the same fees.
The campus is really beautiful. It's really peaceful and the sky looks beautiful every evening.

Dislikes

There are very less places to visit nearby. The nearest city is chennai which is 80km far.
There are snakes and insects around the campus.

Placement Experience:

The students get opportunities from the 4th trimester itself but the majority of companies visit in the 5th trimester. In my academic year, due to recession the offers got affected but the college generally gets 100% placements with decent median package. For my batch the average was 12 lpa. The lowest and highest were 6 lpa and 22 lpa. The companies which offer great packages are Nomura, HSBC, Barclay's, Yubi etc.

Krea University review!

Likes

Professor to student ratio is less which means more priority is given to students
All professors have a PhD from an ivy league and are excellent at the subjects
Liberal arts programme with exciting course choices and subjects offered

Dislikes

Fewer funds for extracurricular activities
Newly established college so it doesn't have much of a name
Administration is a bit inefficient and can be better

Course Curriculum Overview:

Excellent curriculum, very relevant and subject matter is always great! Very interesting courses are offered and very few colleges in India provide such excellent options. I am also able to pursue a double major which is only available in liberal arts and I can delve into multiple subjects and expand my knowledge

Placement Experience:

Students will be able to sit for exams during the 4th trimester. Companies like JPMC, Deloitte, Crisil, Accenture, Barclays, HCL, Wells Fargo, Citi visit the campus. Around 50-60 companies visit the campus with various roles. The highest package was offered by the World Bank which was 17.4. Average package is around 8-9Lpa. All the students get placed on the campus.

IFMR Review

Placement Experience:

From Semester 5th students are eligible for placements. Companies start coming by the end of the 4th semester. Numerous companies visit the campus, be it Big 4 consulting companies. One can refer to their placement reports for in-depth details. All students get placed through the campus process.

Remarks:

My course fees is 1 lakh 60 thousand per annum, and yes its worth it because the college tries best of their knowledge to make us understand about the course. The college have Worldwide students from different countries (like America, African, Russian etc).

Remarks:

Ifmr was established way back in 1970's and because of that it is very much famous in Finance field.It is one of the reputed college in Finance Field.Adding to that a good infrastructure, Course curriculum, Experts as Faculties and easy accessible basic necessities. I liked the faculties, curriculum and placements about ifmr, I choosed Finance and marketing as subjects during my mba course.

One of my friends is from Krea University. According to him and after doing some research online I gathered the following things.

Krea University is the embodiment of exclusive and exceptional education.
The academic structure is formulated in a way that helps students not only in their curriculum but also prepares them for the outer world.
The faculty here is highly experienced and holds expertise in their field of study.
The campus has several co-curriculums and clubs as well for football, basketball, badminton, cricket, volleyball, etc.
The campus at Krea houses a salon, café, open-air theatre, media lab with V. R. Technology, medical dispensary, laundry service, atm machine, a science lab with modern facilities being installed.
Krea University does not only claim to offer exceptional academics and career opportunities to students but makes it evident as well.

Based on the family income of the students, Krea University offers financial aid to support them. They have initiated a work-study program as well. The campus has a great serene environment creating a calm, positive atmosphere all over the campus.
