Krea University is one of the top universities for Liberal Education. Krea University has been enacted by the Legislature of the State of Andhra Pradesh as per The Andhra Pradesh Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 2018 vide the gazette notification published on April 30, 2018. The university is a state-private university approved by UGC. As per the NIRF Ranking 2023, the university is ranked 74th in the Management Category. IFMR Society is the sponsoring body of the University. Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR) has wide and deep experience in education and research for the past 48 years.
Krea Univerity offers BA, B.Sc. at the UG level, MBA at the PG level and Ph.D. at the doctoral level. Apart from these courses, the university offers certification courses as well. How to Apply for Krea University Admission 2024?
Here are the steps to apply for Krea University Admission 2024.

- Step 2: Click on “Apply Now” available on the top right corner.
- Step 3: From the pop-down menu, select the course you want to opt for.
- Step 4: Register Yourself with a valid ID & password.

Note: Applicant should submit the completed form along with an application fee payment of Rs. 500 for proceeding with the evaluation & admissions process.
Krea University Admission Selection Criteria
The selection criteria and the application procedure are different for all the courses at Krea University. The application procedure for UG and MBA programs is online while the procedure is offline in the case of a Ph.D. Here are some details for the same.
- UG Admission: Students having a score of SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) or ACT (American College Testing) are eligible to apply & have to mention the score on the application form. The selection consists of two stages including Application Screening and Immersion Day, students may have to appear in field visits, quantitative and logical reasoning tests, reflection essays, group discussions, and finally interview
- MBA Admission: Candidates have appeared in entrance tests like CAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, and GRE. Those having work experience less than or equal to 36 months are eligible to apply. Selection will be done on the basis of marks in 10th, 12th as well as UG program & entrance exam. Selected students need to appear in WAT & PI
- Ph.D. Admission: Admissions are purely on the basis of merit. After the application screening selected candidates will be called for RAT and PI at the Sri City campus.

Krea University Scholarships
Krea University offers merit-based academic scholarships to students under the Krea SIAS programme. Every year, merit-based academic scholarships are awarded for the Krea SIAS programme, with a full 100% tuition waiver to a 20% tuition waiver. There is no separate application for the merit scholarship. Those shortlisted for the scholarship will be intimated after every round of admission, but the formal offer will go out after Round 4.

I choose if Mr because it is the best college as my cat present is 80% oil and its I am been I mainly focuses on finance and I have hamari is a very good college for finance the admission process of the college is very smooth and you have to be at least score 80% percentile in CAT

- Krea's focus on interdisciplinary approach was highly appreciated as I was allowed to explore various subjects beyond my major, which broadened my perspective and critical thinking skills.
- The faculty at Krea are experts in their feild, their teaching methods are engaging and thought provoking.
Dislikes
- While the Campus is aesthetically pleasing, some aspects of the infrastructure requires improvement.
- The placement service could be functional, some students feel the support for career could be better.
Admission:
To apply to krea , students must have to complete high school with required grades, which vary by program. The admission form is available online on Krea's website where you can also find details about the fees. Certain courses require entrance exams, but all courses initially require a personal story essay which is then followed by an interview round, where the students are shortlisted each round. In the essay they would expect you to mention which course you are planning to take and why. The interview round is specifically catered to each student based off their essay.
Likes
- The placement committee is helpful. The opportunities are also good.
- The hostel facilities are great. The food is also better than a lot of colleges with the same fees.
Dislikes
- There are very less places to visit nearby. The nearest city is chennai which is 80km far.
- There are snakes and insects around the campus.
Admission:
For Mba, the only eligibility is to have a bachelor degree and good score in cat or cmat. I gave cmat and got 94 percentile. In CAT anything above 80 percentile would work. Just need to crack the PI. We have a lot of quizzes in every semester along with mid term and end term. The difficulty level depends on the faculties and the level of understanding of that subject. For engineers, the statistical subjects were easier but they struggled a bit with accounting initially.

- Professor to student ratio is less which means more priority is given to students
- All professors have a PhD from an ivy league and are excellent at the subjects

- Fewer funds for extracurricular activities
- Newly established college so it doesn't have much of a name

No reservation benefits Rigorous admissions (3 steps- application, interview, quantitative aptitude test) The website mentions all details and mentors are available to help. Improvement is to bring back old procedure of immersive case and group discussion to filter out bad students

Initially, applicants need to have a cat score greater than the 80 percentile. Then they need to apply through the college website and they will get GD/PI call if they are shortlisted. Once they clear the GD/PI process they will get admission. The overall process was smooth and hassle-free.

I applied for Wellingker, MDI Murshidabad, IMT & IMI. The reason for not attending those colleges was that IFMR was the best option for me among all. The admission process was smooth and well-coordinated. It happened over a zoom call. The criteria for shortlisting were CAT/CMAT scores. The weightage was divided for academics, CAT/CMAT score, and Personal interview.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am persuing BA.LLB (Law) because my aim is to become a well known judge and contribute something to society. The quality of teaching is remarkable and helpful for the students. Yes, curriculum is all updated and include all recent development and its very helpful for my future job.
Admission:
IFMR GSB is renowned for it's pedagogy and faculties. There education system and course is as per the demand in the industries. Besides this MBA college is measured by it's placement records and IFMR GSB is having good record in comparison to other colleges of same level and tier.

Ifmr was established way back in the 1970s and because of that, it is very much famous in Finance field.It is one of the reputed colleges in the Finance Field. Adding to that a good infrastructure, Course curriculum, Experts as Faculties and easy accessible basic necessities. I liked the faculties, curriculum, and placements about ifmr, I chose Finance and marketing as subjects during my mba course.

The KREA University Registration for MBA has been begun on 26th April 2024. The interview dates of MBA are 5 to 7 May 2024 (Sunday to Tuesday)
Krea Universitty has not released the cutoff list of integrated MBA (BBA+MBA). However, you can contact the Krea University Helpline Numbers- 044- 7165 0123 or 93601 34757 to know the answers of your queries.
The Krea University, Sri City MBA Interview has already been conducted on 21st, 22nd and 24th March 2024 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Now the third round of interview will be conducted. The third round will be conducted on 21st and 22nd April 2024.
