Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum for the course is thoughtfully designed. In those 6 trimesters, we covered almost all the aspects of finance and other relevant subjects. Subjects like business valuation and modern banking management provided us in depth knowledge to prepare for our interviews for companies. We even had business simulation to develop our strategic skills. The overall course make sures that everyone gains knowledge about most of the aspects in chosen field with pratical experience gained during the summer internships.

Internships Opportunities

4

Mostly the banks come for the internship like Jp morgan, morgan stanley, hsbc wells fargo etc. Ey, deloitte, Barclay's etc also come for internship. The roles offered are in different fields like finanial reporting, credit risk, equity analysis, operations, marketing etc.

Placement Experience

4

The students get opportunities from the 4th trimester itself but the majority of companies visit in the 5th trimester. In my academic year, due to recession the offers got affected but the college generally gets 100% placements with decent median package. For my batch the average was 12 lpa. The lowest and highest were 6 lpa and 22 lpa. The companies which offer great packages are Nomura, HSBC, Barclay's, Yubi etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The tution fee was 364000 per half year. The hostel fee was 180000 for the same. The overall fee was 18 lacs approximately. They have increased it now to 20 lacs. The placecom team is efficient and they get lot of opportunities for the students. The average salary went to 12 lacs for my batch. The lowest was 6 lpa and highest 22 lpa.

Campus Life

3.5

We had one annual fest called Abhudaya which is decent. We have other fests which are both inter and intra college. We had dj nights and festival celebrations like diwali, onam, ganapati puja etc. A lot of clubs and committee are there in which students can apply as per their interests. They get chances to perform and come out of the comfort zone. There is a sports club which organises sports competitions in which anyone can participate, they don't need to be professionals.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel rooms are newly built, so they are well maintained and spacious too. It's in double sharing. The food is decent and the menu includes both south and north indian food. We faced difficulties with the quality of few foods here and there but the overall quality was better than most of the colleges in india with the same fee structure. The course is residential so by default you have to choose the hostel.

Admission

For Mba, the only eligibility is to have a bachelor degree and good score in cat or cmat. I gave cmat and got 94 percentile. In CAT anything above 80 percentile would work. Just need to crack the PI. We have a lot of quizzes in every semester along with mid term and end term. The difficulty level depends on the faculties and the level of understanding of that subject. For engineers, the statistical subjects were easier but they struggled a bit with accounting initially.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are experts in their fields and most of them have good experience in both academia and industry. Few of them even own their own consulting firms. We even have our economics professor who is also short term consultant to The World Bank. We had great accounting and finance faculties with over 20+ years of experience.

Interview Experience

4.5

After application we had PI. most of the question were about yourself and they only asked the basic questions from finance and business. They ask why mba, why this college and why we should choose you. Basic study of the subjects and good practice for communication is the key.

Course Curriculum Overview:

No Aspects are intimidating in terms of goals and dreams. Yes they are trying their level best to bring our best through keeping Ppt presentations and making us to give Speech and to conduct the events. They should set standards in terms of Language spoken, Introduction of Foreign language learning classes, Making students to Participate in Inter college competitions. Mid 1 and 2 exams are so stressful that they keep two subjects per day. And that too the Mid 2 exams are kept just few days before the FINAL SEM EXAMS.

Placement Experience:

The placement process is rolling in nature that kind of hectic with the ongoing academic curriculum. As per the market condition the placement does get effected in that manner like visit of some companies in college. College promises 100% placement although they are not laible for that. There is chance of no placement for some but they can differe their placement yo next year and sit in the process with next batch

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course because of I have more interest on business and business environment. In our college, the faculty is too bad because they not well trained and even sometimes they will not provide faculty also. The way of teaching is also not good. The term exams are moderate and if we study means we will definetely pass.
