Ifmr was established way back in 1970's and because of that it is very much famous in Finance field.It is one of the reputed college in Finance Field.Adding to that a good infrastructure, Course curriculum, Experts as Faculties and easy accessible basic necessities. I liked the faculties, curriculum and placements about ifmr, I choosed Finance and marketing as subjects during my mba course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The Course Curriculum is backed by proper research which focuses on current industry demand and future demand based on this everything was decided on the subjects to be considered as part of the curriculum. Academics planning and execution were really good. Faculties In ifmr are one of the best and they come with a handful of professional and academic experiences.
Internships Opportunities
I got an internship in " Equitas Small Finance Bank", Marketing Communications intern, 4k. It gave an interview for this company and got selected through that. I got to learn a lot from this phase which helped me a lot in cracking the final interview
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are upto the expectations all the big Finance companies come to Ifmr with a descent package through which freshers can start their professional with. Roles are also upto the mark this year almost 49 companies came giving opportunity for 185 people.
College Events
Campus life is one of the amazing parts of ifmr we have long space made for evening and morning walks. There are a hell of lot of events buzzing throughout the year. There are almost 20 clubs + committees together which help in making the college atmosphere lively and Fun living. We have Intercollege Mun Event, Abhyudaya the flagship annual feast of ifmr.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, I got 1 lac rupees scholarship for best performance during the first year of my college also it is easy to get an education loan for ifmr from Indian Bank as it comes under their prime list of colleges.
Campus Life
Ifmr has a 40 acres green lush campus with proper infrastructure and basic facilities being provided in the main building which is college one. proper sports facilities are provided which is driven by students themselves. Wifi has a little bit of concern, otherwise the size and equipment in labs are upto the mark and technically feasible.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastructure is very good with lift facilities, Ro water facilities, common room, Tv room, Ac, Laundry services everything is there in the Hostel. Hostel life is quite amazing with Ac installed over there in every room. Also, only double sharing rooms are there
