St Joseph's University review

Likes

College teachers are very good educated and good teaching by them
Good at sports every sports is taken very seriously and wins
The campus is very big and good infrastructure

Dislikes

Some teachers don't understand students problem
There is no proper transport facilities and too traffic
They don't have there own ground it's small

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities is very good more than 50% students get placement easily and average package is good from 900000 to 120000 per annum and I have a plan to start a business and I like to do accounting

St Joseph's College of commerce

Likes

The faculty is very helpful and are well versed in the topics they reach and make it easy for the students to understand the subject better
The basketball court and other sports amenities are excellent
The college has a very lively campus and a friendly vibe to it which makes it even better.

Dislikes

The campus is one of the smallest you will see in Bangalore
The seats and benches are not the most comfortable.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements provided at St Joseph's College of commerce is one of the best in Bangalore students become eligible for campus placements in the final year of their degree and the highest package offered at this college was 22.5 LPA. 85% of the students get placements which says that it has a great placement program and offers the best to it's students.

SJU selection of shift

Likes

Play Ground is quite huge for a University which is in the middle of the city
There are two canteens one in Nafis that is of full floor with northeastern food and other is Arrupe
The outreach program that is mandatory for all the students

Dislikes

The evening shift timings are unsafe and inappropriate
The evening shift students are not allowed to leave the class early if the do so they have to pay penalty
The evening shift does not give concession for 3rd year student who have to complete their internship

Placement Experience:

There are placement done by the placements officer who was before the Dr. Kiran and now Ms Dalza. The personal and professional connections of Mr Kiran has helped us lot like EY, Accenture and many more companies .

Likes

St josephs university has an value by its own and all students have to do is take care of the studies and your attendance percentage.
Teachers are friendly and good in communication and well trained and experienced and highly knowledgable so u get a good understanding of what they mean , but u have to pay attention in class .
There are no restrictions for dress codes so u can enjoy your college life without having trouble in those activities and u have continuous events going on every time to improve students skills and knowledge and u have a lot of activities to do .

Dislikes

Nothing really it didn’t disappoint me so its fine .
But the thing is you should be care With your attendance once u go below the percentage that has to be maintained u can’t take your examination.
And josephs provide you freedom in everything except maintaining attendance of 75 percent

Placement Experience:

As per the aspect of my senior the placement went really well when u have a cgpa above 3 and its not that difficult to maintain a chpa of 3 its simple and really easy if u just pay attention in class .

Nothing interesting

Likes

The college campus is soo good it gives a peace
Magis canteen there we can get some foods to eat
The lectures give there best to make understand the student

Dislikes

Some Students from other states are soo weird
Groupism among the students as if they are the one
No culturals in college and no fun nothing

Placement Experience:

Frm 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement now I'm in 3 semester soo still I didn't visited or non offers came to me around 100+ students got placed recently after I finish my degree I'll work somewhr get experience nd start new business

Outreach program which enhances a overall exposure to new things.
The timings in this college are quite convenient
The faculty here is very friendly and assists us in overall build up.

Dislikes

This college focuses mainly on events and not on studies
Claiming attendance is a problem it’s quite difficult
We’re supposed to claim credits, which is not an easy job. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason why I choose BBA was because I was really interested in starting up my own business initially after which I was more interested to learn more about the digital marketing aspect. And the timings for the exam is one hour for 25 miles and 2 1/2 hours for 60 marks

Things I liked about this college would be the campus
Secondly I would say I love the canteen food and food is affordable
Thirdly i would say I love the way our mentor is very sweet and understanding,he understands the emotions of students his name is Samuel sir

I m doing CS currently company secretary, i cleared foundation examination and now I'm preparing for executive examination so yes it bba is again more of theory that would help me learn better and understand the concepts clearly

Josephs for the win

I liked the campus in my college it’s quiet big and it’s fun out there
The timings are very convenient as we can get done with college and go back homeAs soon as possible
I really like another thing about this college is that there are many associations here so you can join something in which you are interested in

Dislikes

They force us to attend events in auditorium
And if we don’t attend they mark us absent that’s quiet bad
They focus on studies and events both equally studies should be prioritised even more

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the main reasons why I chose BBA is because so that I can gain work experience in some sort of job and gain experience in internship, and after that, I would want to go and start my own small business, where I bake.

ST JOSEPH'S UNIVERSITY IS GOOD OR BAD

Likes

Teacher are good in nature and in teaching as well
University provide mid day meal free of cost for everyone
There are many events happen in one year more than 400+ event happen

Dislikes

There are no any bus facility in university
Your can't bring your car in campus they should allow
They take extra parking charge for your bike 3k per year

Placement Experience:

So college placement is simple if you are in BBA or you want good placement with good package so you should get minimum 8 + CGPA in every semester then you can able to sit in interviews so everything is depends on you and the minimum package is for freshers is 7 to 8 lakh last year that in 2023 the highest package was goes over 23 lakh a girl was get this package so everything is depends on you

My life at St. Joseph's

Likes

The exposure my college provides is amazing and we also engage in a lot of fest and the students are motivated by the faculty to participate in such fests
Another great thing is the infrastructure of our college it is beautiful and students feel encouraged to come to college
The quality of the faculty along with the discipline and the culture in the college is spectacular

Dislikes

The flexibility in the dress code can be better is what I believe but in spite of that the students there are well disciplined which is good
We can be given even even more exposure when it comes to sports which is in need right now
More opportunities can be given for diverse kids

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been always wanting to start a business so BBA was my first choice and the curriculum that is presently being taught is only motivating me towards my goal. The curriculum is also practical in nature which helps me game real insights. We can also have more engaging sessions with professors which will help their teaching methods is well and the timing of the exams in the frequency is very perfect I there is nothing to complain
