IIT Jammu Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The highest, average, and minimum salary packages for the IIT Jammu M. Tech 2023 graduating batch were INR 43 LPA, INR 16.5 LPA, and INR 7 LPA, respectively. The IIT Jammu B. Tech 2023 batch included 222 students in total.

Curriculum is designed to cater the department perspective ,all important courses related to departments are added to degree ,teaching methods are equally good .Exams are mainly 2 class test one after and before mid-semester then end sememster at last.difficulty is moderate

Due To Recession, Every College Is Facing A Problem Of placements and jobs. Despite Of This, due To Our Faculties Good Ties With Companies, We Are Able To Have Good Placements In Comparison To Other Colleges. Highest Placement From Our College Was 54 Lacks In C.S Department And the minimum was 6.5 Lacks In The Civil Department. Average Percentage Of Students Getting Placements Is Around Is 85%. My Plan Is Give IES Exam After Getting The Degree.

For placement the students of 7th and 8th semester are eligible. Certain companies like TCS, Microsoft, Mahindra, Flipkart etc have taken students. Nearly 80 percent students usually get placement. However I plan to pursue higher studies after graduation.

My branch is electrical engineering I think that the professors of my branch are really easilya approachable and understanding They not only teach us about the curriculum which is a little inclusive and theoretical but also clear are practical doubts There are continuous reforms that are being taken place as fas as curriculum is concerned and the faculties are set to give the best of the courses that prepare the students The courses here offered are interdisciplinary which are beneficial to the students to understand the overall mechanics of engineering

If you have required skills for placement to you can get an offer from your 7th semster but you have to fullfill your credits requirements of the course. For Placements many companies are Visited to IIt Jammu you can check it on iit Jammu website, mainly tech companies like infosys, TCS, Samson, Paytm and many more tech giant visited for campus placement. Core companies like nvidia, quallcom also visited for campus placements. For no. Of offer I don't remember the exact no. You can check on iit Jammu website it is around 100-150. The highest is in range of 44-50 lakhs and lowest around 3-4 lakhs. Around 85% students are got placed some students go for higher studies, some go for MBA according to their Intrest. Placement are very very good. In year 2022, 85 % students are placed in campus placement with average package of 15 lpa. 15 % who are not placed have some other plans like High studies or upsc or many more competitive exams. All Major big companies was arrived for placements

we are eligible to sit in campus placements from 7th semester till the completion of degree(8th sem) significant no of companies visited but mostly the recruitment process was done online a very few of them had oncampus interviews. a few MNCs , multiple stratups and about 100-120 compnies listed for this year's recruitment. From 7 th semester students are eligible for campus palcement and multiple companies arrive during the placement season . The highest package is around 45 lakh and average is around 15 lakh. Nearly 60 to 70 percent students get placed
