The course curriculum is relevant for our college exam. Semester exams are moderate and the pass rate is nearly 100%. Midterms are difficult because teachers ensure that every student studies very well to pass the exam.

Well, I have passed 1 year and now I'm in 3rd sem. So from this sem onwards we will study about the branch we choose and I'm looking forward to it. And regarding exams, there are three sessional exams before the final semester exam which is quite helpful.

Some subjects in the curriculum feel repetitive like environmental impact assessment and environmental studies. There are also some mandatory subjects in the final year that as a student we feel should be optional. The freedom to choose students' core subjects is yet to be experimented with.
I took this course because I wanted to learn more about fieldwork and also about the construction of various civil engineering projects. 1:3 is the faculty: student ratio. The faculty is good concerning all the fields of work they do. Their teaching is much improved and also their teaching method is quite good. Every semester 2 midterms are held and at the end of the semester, and end-semester exam is conducted. It is much more difficult to pass the exams cause 30% of the passing marks to come from the KPI.
As a kid, I always excelled in math. I wanted to pursue a career that would utilize my math skill, so I decided that engineering would be the best path for me. The faculty member has teaching experience and they have M.E or MTech postgraduate degrees.
During my CEE counseling, I preferred the civil branch in this college and I got into it. Since the CEE examination is for engineering courses I got into the Btech course. The college also provides other courses apart from Btech like BCA. The student capacity per branch is 60. The faculty members are qualified and enthusiastic to teach the students. Since the college is under ASTU University, end-term examinations are conducted on a timely basis and the question papers to come from ASTU of moderate level. One must practice to not get any backlog.
The expense structure of the school is plunge enough and may look a piece on the higher side obviously yet in all actuality it is absolutely justified, despite all the trouble. For b.arch the expenses is around 8 lakhs for m.planning it is 4 lakhs and for engineering it is 10 lakhs.
The course of B.Tech Civil Engineering is of four years and the fee for the college for this course is approximately 3,70,000. The fee structure is such that fee for one year is approx 92 thousand 5 hundred.
The total fees for my course in civil engineering was 4.58 lakhs. In total. The course fees is so feasible if you check the fees structure for other universities in Assam or in India offering the same course
The fee structure of the college is descent enough and may look a bit on the higher side apparently but in reality it is totally worth it. For b.arch the fees is around 8 lakhs for m.planning it is 4 lakhs and for engineering it is 10 lakhs.
