The faculty of Girijananda Chowdhury University comprises of experienced, erudite, proficient and dedicated professionals whose relentless pursuit is to create a cohort of accomplished and empowered citizens of the rapidly evolving epoch . I don't like the sociology faculty that much as I find it a bit boring There are many exams within months and they are quite difficult as a newcomer

The faculty-to-student ratio in my college is 10.3 The faculties are very friendly and are approachable and are there to help students in every possible ways. I liked Rajkamal kakoti sir for the way he teaches which makes the class very interesting. I also enjoy Bhreegu sir classes. There are around 2-3 exm per semester and the exm are not so difficult but also not so easy. It's all about self study. The pass % is around 50-60.

The faculty to students ratio is 1:4, the relationship of faculties and students are likes father and kid. The solve our issues without any arrogance or ignorance. The name of the faculties i like is Mr. Piyush Singh and Mr Devatshi Kashyap. I like them because one of them is my mentor and other is my favourite subject teacher, gor only him i fall in love with Engineering Mechanics. There are 2 exams each year which is conducted by Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU).The level of the paper is moderate neither difficult nor easy. 75% pass the exam and other 25% are those who got back in any subjects.

The college comes under The Assam science and technology university which have 7 more engineering college under them throughout Assam. The curriculum and exam sysytem is set by them accordingly. The student to teacher ratio varies with different departments but as a whole it is pretty average considering that every 5 student gets one mentor. So the mento mentee ratio is 1:5. Most of the faculties are friendly only.As far as my mechanical faculty goes they are a bit strict but are helpful when needed. One semester in the college lasts around four and a half months during which three internal tests are comducted and one end semester examination. The marking system for the exams are pretty average but if you write even a few lines on a topic you are sure to get marks.

The faculty to student ratio is Good. Teachers can focus on each and every students which enhance the learning of the students. Teachers are open to solve any doubt and query of the students. Faculties like Mrs. Rhwitika Barman, Mitali Mandal, Dr. Jayanta Pathak etc. are very good , their explanation are very good and they are very good in interaction with students. Per semester there are two exams generally, one is Mid term and another is End semester examination. Students failing to clear the exam is quite high.
