SITM Campus life and hostel

Admission is based on merit in CEE or valid rank on JEE Main. Candidates should have passed 10+2 with 45% marks from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as one of the subjects. As a kid, I always excelled in math. I wanted to pursue a career that would utilize my math skill, so I decided that engineering would be the best path for me. The faculty member has teaching experience and they have M.E or MTech postgraduate degrees.

Courses offered by SITM, Guwahati is Bachelor of Technology[B.Tech]{Lateral} is Rs 125,000/Yr, Bachelor of Technology[B.Tech] is Rs 125,000/Yr. There are state-level scholarships for students.

Life at the SITM campus is fun and interesting as many programs are held like Vishwakarma puja, Saraswati Puja, Teachers Day, and Children's Day. The annual Fest is conducted grandly by the management without any disturbance. And 500 no's of titles, 6000 volumes of textbooks, and 1700 volumes of reference books are available in the library. More than 700 international and national journals ( all IEEE, ASTM, and JQATE journals including 250 open aces journals), magazines, back volumes of periodicals, and national dailies are available in the Central Library. Book Bank facility is available to every student. There are 28 no's of classrooms, tutorial rooms, and seminar halls with scientific lightning systems and audio-visual teaching aids. A modernized gymnasium is incorporated into the campus to unload the body from the stress and ailments of a hectic schedule and speedy life. There is a football ground and a basketball court to stay active in mind and body.

A single room or two bedded shared rooms are provided in the hostel which is large and spacious. A study table, bed, and storage unit are provided. The food is good compared to any other hostel. 3-time meal along with snacks. Nonveg is provided 6 days a week. Registration is very simple. You need to inform the authorities that you'll opt for a hostel and the form needs to be filled up. It's somewhat affordable. I rented a room near the campus for 1 year. The rented rooms are also affordable.
