I liked that most of the faculty seem pretty good in their field.
Placement is good average package is almost 15 lakh per annum
You can make good friends and paricipate and sports facilities

Dislikes

Veg mess food is pathetic. Most of the times, menu is even ont followed.
It is 15 km away from the city una that is the problem for students
There is communication gap between the administration. As there is no Student Body. So sometimes Students phase the issues.

Distance from main town is very large.

Placement Experience:

The student is eligible for placement in 4th year. There was an 84 % rate of placement. The highest package was 60 lakh. The average package was 15 lakhs. Most students take placement after their degree. There are many companies like Amazon

Likes

Quality of non veg mess food is good.
Washing machine is available in the hostel.
Outdoor and Indoor Sports facility is very good here.

Dislikes

There is no cafeteria in the college campus.
Hectic schedule due to class from Monday to Friday
Seventy five percent attendance policy .

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visited every year such as Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. The highest package offered was 60 lacs per annum through off campus and 46.50 lacs per annum through on campus.

Likes

The tag , hostel life too is quite good and the students too are sincere

Dislikes

Small campus area , teachers and strict schedule

Placement Experience:

For placements if I talk. Placements are provided in the final year. However, 6 six-semester internship is mandatory. The whole semester is devoted to the internship. The highest on-campus package goes about 45 lakhs and off-campus about 60 lakhs.

My honest review of my college (IIITU)

Likes

i liked it's campus because it is one of the very few iiits which have permanent campus
i liked the fact this is in himachal pradesh so there are lots of hills and stuff you can visit lot of beutiful places nearby
i liked it's placement statistics because it's placements are best as compared to other colleges at this rank.

Dislikes

i don't like the way of teaching of some of the faculties of this college
i don't like the faculty student connection
the management provide so less funds to the clubs etc.

Placement Experience:

Placement at this college is extremely good it is the major reason why I've joined this college some students get very high on-campus placements and some also get off campus by applying on their own.

The Truth of IIIT Una

Placement Experience:

The placements at our institute are decent. The average package was 15lpa and the highest was 60lpa. Many of renowned companies like Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Visit the campus and almost 95 percent of the students get placed.

Beautiful Una IIITU

Likes

Good infrastructure of campus and hostels
Greenery is very good in campus and location near mountains
Great fests and sports activities and and sports events

Dislikes

There is no ac or cooler in hostels for students
Fees is bit high compared to any other college
Campus is in village area far from city area

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement after the 8th semester and internships are available after the 6th semester. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Tcs come here for placement and internships Average placements are 15 lacs per annum and the highest package is 60 lacs off campus About 96 per cent of the students got placed I am going to do an M-tech

IIIT Una - The rising of the one of the Best IIIT in india

Likes

Campus beauty, hostel rooms, cleanliness maintained in the institute.

Dislikes

They are very strict about the 75 percent attendance thing.

Placement Experience:

There is an internship semester in our college dedicated to internships where students have to do 5 months of internship (compulsory) to get their hands on on fieldwork and learn from industry experts. Amazon, Deloitte and many big companies like these visit our college during the placement drive The average package of all the branches combined was 15 LPA which is quite good and is expected to improve further in the coming years. Almost 90+ per cent of students get placed.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students are exposed to different internships and can work with companies. Some of the top recruiters include LINKEDIN, AMAZON, BHARATPE, EXPEDIA, JIO etc. Highest on-campus package is around 46-47 lakhs and the average package is about 14 -15 lakhs Colleges have a very good percentage of placements like 90-92%.

A underrated college

Likes

The infrastructure provided by the college are future based
The menu of the mess changes on the 6 month bases

The campus lacks cafeteria as well as medical emergency
The internet connection here are bit slow and

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a CSE student and I choose this course because of my interest in computers and coding. Our college has a 1:15 teacher ratio , 29% PhD faulty, with good teaching and interactive methods for immersive learning.
