Review IIIT UNA

I have chosen this course because I am interested in data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:15. The faculties are well qualified. They focus more on practical than theory. Semester exams happen timely. The paper of the term exam is of moderate level.

We have the opportunity to do an internship in the sixth semester. There are few companies visited on campus for internships. Most of the students applied off campus through Internshala, LinkedIn, etc. for internships.

From the seventh semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visited every year such as Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. The highest package offered was 60 lacs per annum through off campus and 46.50 lacs per annum through on campus.

The fee is high as compared to NIT. There are some scholarships provided by the state government, central government, and some private Institutions. There are no scholarships provided by the Institute to any student.

Sports fest-Yaalgar, Tech fest-Meraki, Cultural fest-Mridang. All the fest are very good and conducted in September. There is a cricket ground, football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, and lawn tennis court on the college campus. There are four clubs here: Force is for coding, etc., Aavesh is related to electronics, Epmoc is an event managing club, and Eunoia is a literature club.

There are three people living in a room in a hostel. One balcony is attached to every two rooms. A washing machine is available in the hostel. The quality of veg and non-veg mess food is good. But non-veg is better than veg mess.

If anyone wants to come here, he/she will have to appear in JEE mains exam. OBC/SC/ST will get admission here at the low percentile as compared to the general candidate. There is no scholarship provided by the institute to students.
