8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Likes

The college provide best placement for the student
The sports facilities are good here.The campus have a nice atmosphere
There are lots of places near the college to explore

Dislikes

The college is far from the cities.The only ways for transportation are private buses and private vehicle
There are no good shops near the college
The college ground is little far from the college

Placement Experience:

Our college has 90% placements.The placement cell from our college is excellent . Placement training starts from 6th semester onwards the highest package was 11L and average package is 4L .The company like TCS and Infosys are the main recruiting companies

the teachers are well qualified and are really helpful.they also have very much of experience in teaching.most of the teachers have a phd.
the campus is very eco-friendly and full of greenery around.there are full of trees around the college.
the lab facilities in our department are quite fantastic and impressive.all the computers in our lab are of high standards.

Dislikes

the management is very bad.they make us pay for irrelevant activities.they are also very strict.
the college gives very less importance for extra curricular activities and sports.also there is no proper playgrounds in college.
the campus is very very small.there is very less area.

Placement Experience:

the placement in our college is very much good.there is a placement cell in our college.mainly the placement offers are more for computer science department.the students will be eligible for campus placements from sixth semester itself.the companies will be visiting the college and they will be interviewing us.the college will provide placement training from fourth semester itself.the major companies coming here for placement are ust global,tata elxsi, experion technology ,qburst, bnm solutions,federal bank,pentagon space pvt limited etc.the highest offer made in 2024 is 8 lpa.average percentage of students getting placed in computer science department is around 45 percentage.it is very less in other departments.

The real review

Likes

The teachers support us really well and we even get support for our extra activities. They promote us to join mooc courses, they support us to join communities and network with people they allow us to attend and provide us with workshops.
I like the placement cell and the iedc community as well and the events especially the tech fest named tharang is the main. The event happens on two days . The first day consist of morning events followed by nrithya a dance event.
On the second day of tharang we have the morning events followed by the night events which is the pro show. That's the best part of the tharang. The whole college gets involved in the tharang and make events for the students coming from outside.

Dislikes

There is partiality sometimes. I have noticed teachers being partial to some students . It depends on the students and teachers actually.
The college is basically strict since it's under the Thrissur archdiocese.
Events other than tharang are actually mid. Even the students from college won't attend. They don't support sports day actually they end up hosting sports day only for three hours where as in another college's its 3 -4 days.

Placement Experience:

From S6 you get eligible for placement if you have the cut off cgpa which is set by the company.a lot of companies visit our college from small to big packages.even German companies visit our college placement drive. The highest package Last year was 12 LPA ,3 people got placed at State Bank of India for 12 LPA.about 80% of students get placed if they have a great cgpa students get offer from more than 3 companies. But there are also chances where they for placed even after having supplies .my plans after getting the degree is to get placed as a data analyst if not I would love to do mtech in the same subject.

The life of ASIET campus

Likes

The basic thing that any college must provide is the study atmosphere. Here, the college itself has the greenary filled surrounding that attracts each and every student .
The most fascinating factor is the most awaiting college engineering fest -"BRAHMA" -that almost boosts the energy and give out the true vibe for celebration in the college.
The lecturers are so cool and are friendly to students which avail them to freely communicate and understand things. The student-teacher bond is very well brought out that was very evident from my first few years in Adi Shankara .

Dislikes

Since being a fresher, I was not into many programs even though there were many organized by the college itself as it meant missing out the lectures in between the programs even though it availed duty leaves.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies approaching for placement and the interviews were going on towards the last week and between the course time. Internship programs also were provided that bring out new oppurtunities to students. Students basically based from EC and Computer have the highest placements.

college life at SSET

Likes

how peers are open to freshers .i did not find any difficulty in adjusting to the new environment
highly qualified lecturers who are there to help you in any situation
good placement and internshiip opportunities

Dislikes

its infrastructure can be made better even though the surroundings are quite nice
some facilities are not always available like lifts

Since I'm pursuing B.Tech in civil engineering, sset provides a hands on learning experience in order to tackle real life problems. We have been to numerous study trips and have visited several industries which provided a better understanding.

Awesome college and campus life

Likes

The campus life is so good .The college provides with so much facilities with different machineries and demonstration of different concepts.
The teachers are so good and so much interactive and supportive to students and there talents

Dislikes

I think the physical education department is little weak in the college
The placements over the colleges are less compared to the previous years

The placements are good in oru college .Some of core companies comes for hireing but the placement this year is less compared to the previous years.The college provides with maximum oppertunities.most of the placements are now fpr computer departments

Placement Experience:

Placements for various branch different companies where coming but comparing with the other branches Placement for civil engineering is less. If the Placement are offering it Wil be most of them are IT companies and they have to know more about the coding knowledge. The core companies where very less comparing to the other branches.

Thankful to my college

Likes

My college is very avtive academics .They were lots of internship opportunities and placements.
In the level of arts and culturals are also important with thé academics .The college same importance for this.
In the level of sports really encouraging and supporting for thé physical fitness and getting so many record in competitions.

Dislikes

Sometime college have veru strict in academics.
Some rules and regulations are not good.
In the case of tution fees very rudely behaviour from manager.

Placement Experience:

They were more placements offers in my college but all companies are non technical so don't have any future in that company i think college take kore responsibility for taking good company for placements

MY COLLEGE MY LIFE

Likes

The faculties are really good at the courses they are teaching
Good placements , internships, job related extra courses
Good atmosphere and natural ambience of place where college is situated

Dislikes

college canteen food is not that much good
Hostel facilities is less and not that much accommodation
more courses are there to be accredited , nothing much

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 onwards students are eigible for campus placements.I dont know great details of the companies visited and no offers made.The average package as per company and profiles offered were about 60k per annum and the highest package is around 6lakh per annum.Abou 75% of the students are being placed.My major plan after my degree is to masters in this course in germany and getting a job with a good salary.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
