8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

Dislikes

The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Likes

Good campus environment, location is beautiful
Other than accreditation, it's a fair college among this area.
Almost teachers are friendly and ready to help

Dislikes

College buses are not upto the mark, leaking in rain time
Management has no fund, keep asking the students funds for each program

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are not bad . Many companies visit and make decent placement offers ( you can't expect good amount of salary, because it's a campus placement). Few companies are TCS , UST global etc.2 to 4 lakhs are packages mostly offered.they say 100% eligible students can get placed, Students with no backpaper and good cgpa with demanding skills and good fluency in English,also most importantly the ability to perform interviews well will get definitely placed.iam not sure about getting placed I've got backpapers , I'm an average student. After clearing all papers , I'll develop some skills and try off campus jobs

Likes

Really nice atmosphere to study. Teachers are supportive
They setup a really good environment which is silent and peaceful.
The infrastructure has many facilities which is really amazing

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered at a high variety . Comparing and saying about all the branches isn't possible. In short the avg salary would be around 4-5 lpa and the maximum package last year was 15 lpa which was from electrical and electronics department. If you study well and create some skills it is sure that you will have a bright future.

About the college

Likes

The faculty members are friendly and provide us with quality lectures. They are well educated and have experience in there core field.
The lab facilities are good here and the lab staffs are experienced.
There is no discrimination between girls and boys. All treated equally in all aspects.

Dislikes

College is in a remote area. Transportation to college is only possible via college bus. Otherwise we have to use own vehicle.

Placement Experience:

The college provided placement assistance. The college have a placement cell that manages all placements. The cell help students in getting jobs and provide students classes about how to attend interviews.

The first Engineering College in Kerala,CET

Likes

It’s more like an art college.We have plenty of cultural festivals and hobby clubs
The freedom in our college is one of the important factor to choose this college.No academic pressure at all.
The students in our college are extremely talented.Obviously,These are best science students in our state.but lower compared to NITC.

Dislikes

The infrastructure.The college was built in 1939.Our new campus was built in 50 years ago.So it is very old and never maintained properly
The college area and the people around that are more religious and who follow right politics
The roads and drainage system in our college is very bad

Placement Experience:

From S4,We can get the internship offers through placement cell.Full fledge placement season is starting from S6 .The highest package is 34 lpa in this year(Texas Instrumentation) .There is an average package of 5 lpa in our college.I got the placement in Tata Consultancy Service.

Likes

Teachers are good! They teach very well !
Teachers are ffriendly and we can ask anyone anything
Overall a good choice! If u want to score good marks u can join this college

Dislikes

Need improvement in college tour and iv oppurtunities
Need more practicals sessions and reduce theory sessions

Course Curriculum Overview:

Their teaching style and method is soo good.. they teach us the thory and thier indepth applications in real life . So we have good knowledge about the use and application of most of the things we learned. I was able apply the thoeries i have learned in real life .

Campus atmosphere and freedom given to students. more good college life as it is a govt controlled institution
fest conducted and the frequent celebrations conducted and getting chance for good interaction and involvement
versitile lab facilities and experienced staff to demonstrate it especially in mechanical branch

Dislikes

The syllabus is under KTU. so its not updated and it have flaws
rude behaviour of some teachers with personal grudge
poor and old infrastructure and small campus area

I think they are giving good amount of students placement from the campus
There is proper library and students can access the library any time when they open
Proper parents meeting are conducted by the management

Dislikes

The faculties are less in my department and they are not experienced in that field also
Lack of programs are conducted by the college management
For getting any service from office there are so many permission to get

Placement Experience:

I don't know much about the placement process but I can see and hear that they give good amount of students placement from the campus and with normal salary package around 15000 -25000 . There are so many senior they get placement from campus

Environment is very good and the lectures are vere supportive and good

Dislikes

The college is situated more into village so access to city is bit difficult

Placement Experience:

The palcemets are vey good as they offers an average 4 LPA and the main it gaints like tsc, CTS hire every year. Also many no of companies are recruiting and have a wide choise of companies . I am also a campus placed student with a 7 LPA at dubai

Strong alumini network contributes highly for the development of the college

Likes

The College is academically excellent and provide great opportunities.
College has modern infrastructure and good facilities.
The College has transportation facilities.

Dislikes

College doesnot have enough hostel facilities.
Campus is not fully working and hostel have time restrictions.
Some of the classes are very small so cannot accommodate large number of students.

Placement Experience:

The College offers good placement in the field of computer science engineering.But comparing to it the placements in core branches are very less. The average salary package is 6LPA.Also number of companies hiring is comparatively is larger compared to other government colleges.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur.
