The Rajagiri engineering experience

The curriculum covers all the aspects a mechanical engineer should be prepared for. The size of the curriculum can be decreased The 2 internal exams are conducted in span of 3 months and the end semester is conducted a month after the internals. The internal exams are not too difficult but question papers for end sem has been very difficult

I was not allowed to do interships from college due to many backpapers but my classmates had good internship opportunities but most were not offered internships with stipend But they had obtained very useful information and experience from the interships they were offered

The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. The average students getting placed in the mechanical department are about 30%. My plan after completing my mechanical engineering degree is to go for masters in business administration

I paid a sum of 1,98,000rs in the beginning for the management seat where the 1,00,000 rs is a deposit which will be returned after completion of the course. The fee from the second year onwards has been an average of 84,000rs. The Scholarships are provided based on merits.

2 festivals are conducted annually one for arts and one for science and technology The arts fests are conducted in even semesters The technological provisions in class are adequate Sports and extracurricular activities are not promoted enough by our college Many clubs are offered for students in different activities and the student council is very approachable

To be elegible for the course i had to have more than 65% marks in physics, chemistry, maths in my 12th CBSE boards I also had to have more than 100 marks in KEAM entrance exam To avail for the management seat you must pass the KEAM exam

The faculty of the mechanical department are good at teaching but very rude to the students and put poor internal marks. The faculty of other departments I have interacted with are have been very nice to me. All the faculty members are qualified for the role they have in the college. The teachers are always ready to interact with the students.
