What Students Say

Likes

Our campus is very peaceful and calm.Its of a peaceful ambiance.
Teaching mode is good.Most of the teachers PhD holders and of great knowledge.

Dislikes

Some of the teachers behaviour towards students.Very bad attitude.
Some of the facilities are so poor.Seats arranged in the class are so poor.
Rush in finishing subjects and Sometimes due to rush we don't understand the topics well

Course Curriculum Overview

Robotics and Automation ud the course that I have chosen.its a better course compared to other subjects. They provide lab facilities for our experimentation and for practicing it in the real time. Timing of exams are always a helm.KTU will not much time to study as well as to finish the topics.so teaching is little bit tough and we don't get much time to grap it .

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 57500 per year

Internships Opportunities

Robotics and Automation based Electrical, Electronics, civil, mechanical like all subjects all provide internship and opportunities for students. But now I think no interships are provided by our college

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee, hostel fee etc are increased to a large amount where most of them can't provide it.New management is increasing the fees for students and also not providing attendence if they are not remitting fees on time

Campus Life

Brahma - cultural and technical events Ashwamedha-technical fest Class is good and have projector facilities. Many clab are there in our campus.this provides a great opportunity for our students.by this opportunity tey can express their skills.

Admission

Should pass 12wuth minimum of 60%. Keam should be qualified. Reservation for lower caste. Application form and other details ar in the official website do check it out. Timing of exams are always a problem ...we don't get much time to study

Faculty

Faculties are good at teaching and providing knowledge for us .But some of them are so bad teaching.They even don't know about what they are teaching.Just readup the simplified notes . Interaction between faculty and students are not bad .They help us in every situation.. Learning experience from this college is medium level.

Life at CET

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very active. You can get internships starting 2nd year and placements starting 3rd year. About 75% of people get placed. Many MNCs like Texas Instruments are consistent hirers. The highest package of 2025 for my course is 1 crpa. The average is about 7 lpa. A student can get 5,6 offers. I plan on higher studies abroad because I want to learn more in-depth about the course.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Remarks:

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends. The most special thing about the college is those memorable friendships with the faculties whos understand students very well.

I've heard that our college provide better placements compared to other colleges and the campus life is almost good so I choose this college. The Experience of Teenager to an adult

Inorder to get admission for engineering course you must have atleast 10 marks for keam entrance exam.(if you are a nri student,the cutoff doesn't really matter). The admission process was nice. First you have to register for keam exam for admission in colleges in kerala. Then after the results of this exam,you will get your rank.
