The college is very reachable as there are a lot of public transport available
The facilities are very good unlike the faculties
Some of the teachers do help you to get better

The college is too strict that they wont even allow us to do any extra curricular activities
The placements are all just made up, very few students get placed to good companies

The curriculum is very bad as this is very much outdated,most of the topics which arr being thought to us are very irrelevant Teaching is done very much in a school way...it should be more using technologies Exam timing and frequency is very much good And the difficulty level is average In computer science engineering

The tution feee doesn't increase every year for the students who has already joined But the tution fee does increase every year for the freshers Stipends and is not there in this college Scholarships are available

Campus Life

Bloom is the latest program that has happened in the college That happened like 7 months ago and after that there has been absolutely no programs Sports and extracurricular is very much poor There's no social life for students

Hostel Facilities

The facilities provided in the room are not very bad and everybody has their own bed and they have a table for their own places the hotness in the summer is very much high in the hostel the hostel warden is very strict, the registration for hostel is done in the college administrative block

Admission

The eligibility of the course is that you should pass keam exam The eligibility for keam is to have good Mark's in physics chemistry and mathematics in your plus2.most people who have studied science stream can get inti this college

There are a lot of faculties for the students,the number of faculties are good but the problem is they are all controlled by the board,so they have to follow the board's instructions and sometimes has to go against the students even if the truth is by the students side...most of the faculties are well educated and very reachable in the computer science engineering

IIIT KOTTAYAM - a Honest review

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

IIST - A good campus to live but with high restrictions.

The campus placement is there in the campus.A lot of companies visit to the campus. From this year more private companies are visiting because of the breaking of bond with ISRO due to which students are getting good package.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
