Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Majority of the topics are really useful as per the current scenario. As I am a civil engineer I have never got a feeling that what we study now are useless. But some irrelevant topics are still there in the syllabus which doesn't have any use to us in future.

Internships Opportunities

4

I attended an internship which was not offered by the college but many internship oppurtunities are available under the college which provide stipends, activity points and experience. Many students prefer third year to perform internships

Placement Experience

4

I am now a second year student so I don't have a complete knowledge about the campus placements. But the previous year placement oppurtunities were very good as per the records. 88 out of 140 were placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The campus fee structure is very reliable for the students studying here. Only the amount we have in addition is for the books, records and other equipments used for our studies. Certain scholarships are also provided to the students to aid in their studies.

Campus Life

4

Actually I am not too interested to take part or to enjoy in any of the festivals happening in our college. But they are really very amazing as per the reviews of those who attended the festivals. The college has a central library where various books on different topics are present.

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostel given to the first year students had a main head who always had an eye on the students. The hostel rooms are neat and clean and also the food provided by them are now having a strict validation as there were some issues regarding their food offered to the students.

Admission

For admission we have to pass and qualify the KEAM exam. Some legal procedures were followed after the examination for admission process. Then on the same day hostels were also booked in addition to it.

Faculty

3.5

Majority of the faculties are helpful compared to other colleges. They provide good assist to students who are not made up to a mark that they should be. They also informs us about workshops, internships and many helpful objectives for our career development. Even some may not reach the level of the other faculty members they are still good in teaching

Placement Experience:

As seniors said the average package is around 10lpa.If you have descent skills and above 8 cgpa you will get this average package. If you upskill yourself with effort which many students do here then you can also get above 15lpa which many seniors got.The highest package was off-campus by an ECE Student in Google despite having cgpa around 6.He had very good skills as a full stack developer.

Some of the known recruiters include: TCS, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, Aspire Systems, Birlasoft, ITC Infotech, South Indian Bank, HTC Global, Schneider Electric, Danfoss, Rikun and others.Highest Package: Up to around ?10 LPA Collegedunia Average Package: Around ?3–4 LPA for many companies. Some department reviews suggest averages closer to ?3–4 LPA and up. Around 75–80% of eligible students get placed each year across various departments. Careers360

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.
