- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- environment. there are lot of trees and plants. every morning and evening we can here the chirping of birds and we get fresh air. it is such a calm climate and each department has its own garden and trees that provide different fruits.
- Near to each department there are canteen like stalls available for students to take sip of tea and chat. we have a park like place which is named as gazebo for the students to take a group discussion or doing projects or chatting.
- In front of college there are lot of shope which we can easily access. every necessary items are available there and we dont have to travel more. near to college itself we have temple mosque and church
Dislikes
- some of the teachers are not doing their job correctly and gives more stress to students and even some of them doesnt concider about the students mental stability or emotions
- Dogs..there are lot of lot of dogs in our campus. they are soo annoying and in the classes also they are coming early in the morning and took the first seat . even students are late comers but these dogs are not. Every night they bark so loudly.
Placement Experience:
The placements start in the end of sixth semester and college will provide training foe the placxements. if we didnt get placements dont worry., because even after we pass out we can attent the placements for next 2 years also which is off campus placement. There are 3 slabs of placement in slab 1 is up to 6 lpa but not 6 lpa. slab 2 is in between 6 lpa and 15 lpa. slab 3 is above 15 lpa which is a dream company. A person who got placed in core company is not eligible to apply for placements offering lpa in slab 1 and slab 2. but can sit in dream company

- ambiance. its full of trees and nature really good to chill
- really good infracture and labs which are maintained
- teachers are co operative and helps students alot
Dislikes
- not much free time its always studyinn studyinn
- not much programs like art festivals only one called BLOOM
- kinda stressfull college life ngl soo yeee

nehru has implemented placement traninng from the start of the course itself, from first year itself we get to placement classes which made us adapt and get to know how interviews are conducted. from 4th year onwards i think students are eligible for placements and more than 75% of students gets placed every year

- Food I hate there isn’t much choice in lunch time
- There are some classroom which are poorly maintained
- We are not allowed to do task in computer instead it is done on paper

There are many Ai seminars arranged in our college to help with job opportunities and ideas.Ftom what I heard there are quite a good amount of placements offered in the college.My plan in the future is to go for mtech course in quantity surveying.

- Gym timing is to be increased, now its from 4 to 7
- Core placement for civil like branches are less
- No more things to be disliked, our college is almost perfect

Course Curriculum Overview:
We are following 2024 scheme, which is very relevent and try to decrease the industry academic gap. This curriculum focus more on internships rather than theory based classes, so that more practical knowledge can be gained

- Activities ,we have alot of clubs and organisations through which everyone can showcase their skills even if do not have any skill u can learn them by attending various workshop held by the respective majors.
- Secondly i liked about the fact that the campus being raggig free its provides a friendly welcoming to the freshers.
- Lastly its the infrastructure and the faculties together make it a hospitable one.
Dislikes
- Classes without small mid breaks like we have classes continuously on a stretch for 3 hrs only after that we get a our lunch break for 1 hour.
- Taking classes even on staurdays due to the prior leave
- Lack of involvement of individuals in different activities
Placement Experience:
One of thing which ignite dme to choose this college is fue to the placement ratio a large amount of students get placement to different companies based on their performance both academic wise as well as skill wise

- The campus provides a nice opportunity for social interactions.
- The college is completely ragging free. One would never find such friendly and caring seniors in any other colleges
- The college has many clubs and programs. So everyone can be part of the college and its activities.
Dislikes
- Drinking water facilities could be improved.
- It’s a technological institute, it should be able to provide better and fast free wifi to students and faculties
- Teachings should be more technological. Sometimes they stick to the old patterns

Civil engineering is a course with least placement in every engineering colleges. Students are placed during their fourth year in college. Sobha Constructions Ltd is one of the main companies that visits college. 200000rupees package is the average package offered. Les than 25 percent civil engineers get placed.
I plan to prepare for GATE exam and pursue more in this course.

- College campus has sufficient space and there is a big play ground for sports and other extra curricular activities and there is physical health department also.the college also has a gym which is free for students.
- Our civil department is very fine in terms of it's infrastructure there is all facilities in the classroom and in the department as well. There is sufficient benches and desks for students and projectors in each class
- The faculties are good enough in their fields. They do teaches and covers up the syllabus before sem exam.they are always ready to help students in any study matters and lab faculties are also good
Dislikes
- Placements related issues are there for civil department now a years. We get less placements compared to other departments and salary package is also not that much high which causes less students to attract in pursuing civil engineering degree.
- The food from the college hostel other than pg is worst. I have friends from ladies hostel they used to tell that food quality is poor and hygiene also is somewhat poor. That has to be improved I wish.
Placement Experience:
Placements are less comparatively for civil department considering previous years. There are students who have got placements in companies with only 17k per month. So my plan is to prepare for psc exams for getting a government job rather than waiting for a placement from the college.

- All the faculties are best to provide better education
- The collage union are also very nice to provide anything to students
Dislikes
- They only provide one collage bus for transportation to bus stand and railway station, i want to change that to more for any 2 times
- I need to change the time table for giving one period as interaction period for students with tutors

the new 2024 scheme is more flexible. but teachers give a lot of assigments an stuff. we are foced to do seminars for subjects like health and wellness that feels like a waste of time . since i have only completed one semester i am yet to know more about syllabus

- I like college ambience. It is very eco friendly
- Very nice faculty and teachers are very supportive
- Provides good quality study materials for the students for study purpose
Dislikes
- Sometimes charecter of the teachers not satisfied
- Not providing support to sports activities
- Not providing support to arts and other cultural activities

Very good course and coaching classes for the students and teachers are together in the world of the world and the exams are together at the moment of the world of the world of India and teachers are very supportive

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems.
