What is the SOA University SAAT exam like?

Siksha O Anusandhan University Admission Test (SAAT) is a national-level exam conducted by Siksha O Anusandhan (SOA) University for admission into various undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. It is an MCQ-based test for 2 hours. A total of 100 questions will be there. Each correct answer will be awarded with 1 mark and there is no negative marking in SAAT 2025. If you have qualified for class 12th with 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized university you can apply for the exam. SC/ST candidates need a minimum of 47.5% in Class 12th to apply for SAAT 2025. As mandatory subjects, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English in their qualifying exam.

Also there are more opportunities for Computer science students compared to others.The College lacks a bit of proper management to take quick decisions at times.They always publish the notice at the end moment, so one needs to have some patience.ITER has the biggest fully air conditioned library in the region.You would love the infrastructure and the facilities they provide. The library has an E-resource centre where more than 200 computers with high speed internet are there.You can go and explore anything. Two floors with a capacity of more than 500+ students are there for self study.The Hostels are good. Some hostels have 4 beds in a single room and some have 3. But hostel provides 24*7 electricity, internet and water.The semester examinations are easy and you can easily score 8+ CGPA if you study a day before the examination.

Review for Soa national institute of law. Read this before taking admission

Placement Experience:

From 8th semester students become eligible for placement. Quickflex and some other companies visited our university and around 15-20 offers are made. The highest placement is 500000rs per year and the average package is around 350000 per year. 20-25% students get placed. My 1st plan is to get placed somewhere and then start my preparation for judiciary.

The college has a seperate Placement Cell and the placement cell offers us placements. The students get eligible for placement after the completion of 4th year. There are many companies like Infotech limited, Riseon limited, Wipro limited, etc. they come for placements. The highest package is 55000/- per month that is received in our campus. In our campus 75% of students get admissions per batch. My interest is to continue persuing LLM in this institution after the completion of my BA LLB (H) course.

college provides placements to more then 95% student. college provides Pre-Placement training of 6 months by which will help a student easily grab a job

After 3rd semester the students are eligible for internship but after 4th sem the students are eligible for Plecement. More the 95% students get the placements. Highest package is aprox Rs.4300000 and lowest is 300000. My plan is for higher studies after getting degree.

If you study well or be in top 50 percent of student you can get a good campus placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent of this college . For campus placement students must be of 6th sem atleast . There are many companies which come to our college such as JpMorgan ,Samsung,Zscalar etc . Samsung offer around 20 lpa but overall average package of the college is around 4-5 Lpa. Highest package of our college is 60 Lpa.Around 70 percent of student get placement in this college . i want to get into any good company for my future.

What's best college among BPUT, SOA (ITER) & KIIT in terms of placements?

KIIT is the best technical college in Orissa, in terms of placements too. Its students get placement offers before the 8th semester itself. But on average, the offers aren’t very attractive. Plus, the fee of KIIT is much higher compared to ITER and BPUT.

My cousin was a bright student at KIIT. He received a good on campus placement. On the other hand, I was a BPUT graduate. Though I was also good at studies, I had to look for off campus placements due to lack of on campus offers.

But my knowledge and hard work eventually paid, and I got a good job with a good package. At present, my cousin and I get an equal salary, and we are both working in different companies in the US.

KIIT is the best for on campus placements. ITER is not as good, but much better than BPUT. But my point is, even if you end up in ITER/BPUT because of financial constraints or some other reason, do not give up hopes. At the end of the day, your hardwork and determination is all that matters.
