SAAT 2026: Round 2 Exam Begins Today, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern and Cutoff

SAAT 2026 is the Siksha O Anusandhan Admission Test conducted by Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, for admission to its UG and PG programmes in engineering, medical, dental, pharmacy, nursing, management, law, hotel management and computer applications. The SAAT 2026 Round 2 exam window has begun today, 14 June 2026, and will run for the next few days in online proctored mode. Round 1 was conducted in April-May 2026, and the university is now offering a second chance to candidates who could not appear earlier or who missed the first cycle.

• SAAT 2026 Round 2 Exam: The Round 2 exam window has started on 14 June 2026 and will continue till around 19 June 2026 in online remote-proctored mode. Last year, Round 2 ran from 13 June to 18 June 2025 across 6 slots.
• Round 2 Result: SAAT 2026 Round 2 result is expected by the last week of June 2026, around 25-28 June. In 2025, the Round 2 result was declared within 7 days of the last exam slot on the official portal.
• Counselling Registration: SOA counselling registration for B.Tech, MBBS, BDS and other UG programmes is expected to open from the first week of July 2026. Last year, more than 25,000 candidates registered for SAAT counselling.
• Round 3 Application: A final SAAT 2026 Round 3 application window may open in July 2026 for remaining seats. In 2025, Round 3 opened on 4 July and the exam was held on 14 July 2025.

What is SAAT 2026?

SAAT 2026 stands for Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan Admission Test 2026. It is a university-level entrance exam held by Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. SAAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The SAAT 2026 eligibility criteria differ for each course. You should check the requirements for the programme you are applying to before filling the form.

SAAT 2026 Eligibility for B.Tech

• You must have passed Class 12 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
• You should also have studied Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology or any technical vocational subject.
• The minimum marks needed are 50% in Physics, Mathematics and the third subject combined.
• There is no upper age limit for B.Tech admissions.

SAAT 2026 Eligibility for MBBS and BDS

• You must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
• The minimum aggregate needed is 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC) in PCB.
• You should be at least 17 years old as on 31 December 2026.
• You must also qualify NEET UG 2026 along with SAAT for MBBS and BDS admissions.

SAAT 2026 Eligibility for B.Pharm

• You must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
• The minimum marks required are 45% in PCB or PCM.

SAAT 2026 Eligibility for BBA, BBA LLB and BA LLB

• You must have passed Class 12 in any stream with at least 50% aggregate.
• For BA LLB and BBA LLB, you should not be more than 22 years of age (24 for reserved categories).

SAAT 2026 Eligibility for PG Programmes

• For MBA, you must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate.
• For M.Tech, you must have a B.Tech/B.E. in a relevant branch with 50% marks.
• For MCA, you must have a Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics at the 10+2 or graduation level.

SAAT 2026 Application Process
