NIT Mizoram Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placements at the institution are excellent, and the average package is improving year after year. We would become eligible to take campus placements in the third year. The college has visited a large number of firms, and the offers are extremely good. The most expensive bundle is 18LPA, and the placement is around 70%.

The college is decent but the placement quality of the college is good. The college placement committee member is quite professional and works very hard to invite good companies for the placement and they also guide us during the college placement round. The highest salary offer of the college was around 16 LPA and the average salary offer is around 10 LPA. We see more increase in the salary offers of the college as the placement committee and the college management is working together to improve the placement quality of the college.

The college provides a decent placement for B.Tech. The college has a record of 100% placement and the college placement committee of the college is fully responsible for our placement as we have to register all our details with the placement committee so that they can help us to find companies as per our interest. The college committee is successful in inviting good numbers of companies. The highest package for our batch was around 15 LPA and the average package was around 8.50 LPA.

I was interested in cse but by my AIR I got EEE. The faculty-student ratio is quite good,it is 1:30. The teaching methods of some teachers are excellent,they clear doubt of some students and explain topic briefly but some teachers never want to take class.

The placements in the college are very nice and the average package is increasing every year. In the 3rd year, the campus placements will be taken by the students. There are so many companies that have been visited by the college and the offers are also very good. The highest package is 18LPA and the average package is 6.58LPA. There is 60 to 70% of students are getting placed in the campus placements every year.

From the 7th semester with minimum grand points, every student is eligible for campus placement, maximum all students get placed through placements with a maximum 12 LPA and minimum 4 LPA there are so many mnc companies which came to our college.

After 6th-semester students become eligible for campus placement . There is some famus company like Microsoft, L&T, TATA Moters, Mahindra Tech hire the students in campus placement. 50 percent students of each branch are placed . 28 lac is the higest packeg of this year in CSE branch and average packeg of our college is 6.5 lac.

In the 6 th semester the students are eligible for campus placements so everyone has 7 cgpa to attend the campus placement some have to maintain Every semester. The highest package is 14 lacks and the average is 6 lacks per annum.

The average package for the mechanical engineering branch is 6.5lpa and the highest is 14lpa. Minimum 60% of mechanical department students get placed. My plans after getting a degree are to go for higher education and pursue Mtech

It was an NIT and it was close to my residence. Therefore I chose this NIT. Overall, it was a great experience. Being an NIT we had a wide variety of opportunities including inter-NIT events and meet-ups. The teaching lifestyle was also great. We've had campus placements as well as pool placement(in nearby NITs) drives, which opened up more job opportunities.
