NIT Mizoram Review

NITs are popular for their CSE program and I also wanted to complete my B.Tech from CSE program. My JEE score was not to that great that could get into some top colleges of India and I only wanted to opt for the CSE program and at last, during my JOSAA counselling, I was allotted a seat in NIT Mizoram. As I was getting seats in my CSE program so I decided to opt for the college. The admission process was smooth and the college admission staff was very cooperative.

The curriculum of NIT Mizoram is similar to NIT Patna. The curriculum helps us to develop our thinking capabilities, analytical and decision-making abilities. The curriculum is designed to give us an understanding of all the basic and advanced levels of programing language and coding. The faculty of the college is also very good. They are cooperative and helpful. The faculty are easily approachable and they are ready to help us out in solving our queries. The faculty teaching methods are very good and they help us to make complex concepts understand quickly.

The college gives internship opportunities but the college does to provide internship programs in the college. We are free to opt for internships from outside the college and the college will just give us the approval letter for the internship program. We have to find the company for internship on our own.

The college provides a decent placement for B.Tech. The college has a record of 100% placement and the college placement committee of the college is fully responsible for our placement as we have to register all our details with the placement committee so that they can help us to find companies as per our interest. The college committee is successful in inviting good numbers of companies. The highest package for our batch was around 15 LPA and the average package was around 8.50 LPA.

Unlike other NITs of India, the college provides scholarships on a merit basis. But there are limited scholarship schemes in the college. The campus life of the college is peaceful. The college infrastructure is very well maintained. Festivals are also celebrated on the college campus and the college also organises some small events and competitions. The college classrooms are good and properly ventilated. The college library is good and all types of academic and non-academic books are available.

The hostel of the college is good. The rooms are properly ventilated and regularly cleaned. The bathrooms are also hygienic and properly cleaned. The hostel mess food quality is good. The wardens and the hostel staff is very cooperative and friendly. The hostel has 24 hours of power and water supply facilities. The hostel provides us with all kinds of facilities and amenities as per our comfort.
