- They take a keen interest in teaching students and love to solve students' doubts.
- The placement and training cell at nit uk is doing great works in past years with helping students get better opportunites in their 3rd year by getting interships from various companies to kickstart their careers out in the real world.
- The thing that i like is how the students celebrate every festival
Dislikes
- Mess food is really bad for the fee we pay, with little variety.
- Hostels are good if you have a good company, but the mess food is disaster, you will get trouble to habitate yourself for the food.
- One thing which is not to be overlooked is the hostel mess food for which we pay in advance which is not taken care of even after the frequent complaints by the students.

Average pacage of nituk is 6lpa. I know it is not good for an nit but we have to consider it is established in 2010 and it also
face trouble in placemente due to its remote location. Therfore many people prepare forexam like gate , civil services etc...

- sports facilities are limited but they doesn't feel like that

- 75% attendance policy is mandatory, else you'll have to repeat the course.

The placement rate is quiet good and the average package of CSE is 14LPA .

This Year most of the students were placed with avg package of around 7lpa and highest package of 34lpa.
Atlassian, adobe, koo, samsung, delloite, publicis, people strong, ZS, accenture, loyalty juggernaut.

Placements are mainly CS/IT-based.
We had a few core companies like L&T, Laxmi mittal for civil and mech, but a large portion of campus placements resides along with IT companies.
One or two consultancies like ZS and Deloitte also visit campus.
LTI, Capgemini, ZS, Cvent, Publicis Sapient are regular at the campus.
Avg 6 LPA, CSE: Around 8 LPA

Admission:
Admission is done through JEE Mains. JEE mains is now two times a year one can easily apply and had to secure rank under 30000 for other state general category and upto 1 lakh is ok for students having residence in uttarakhand. This process is usually really common for all nit's.

College management is average. Some events are organised in really good way while some are not even taken good care of.

Good strength of professors.
Relatively very alienated from the main city. Road connectivity is the only mean of transportation which is not great by the way.
