NIT Uttarakhand Cutoff 2024 (Out): Check JEE Main, GATE & DASA Cutoff

NIT Uttarakhand B.Tech cutoffs are released on the JoSAA portal after each round of counselling in the form of Opening and closing ranks. 6 rounds are released on the JoSAA portal and the last two cutoffs are released for the supernumerary seats on the CSAB portal.

NIT Uttarakhand JEE Main Cutoff 2024 for CSE is 11855 – 15878 (Other States) & 18865 – 29393 (Home State) in Round 1 for general category students. In the year 2023, the overall BTech cutoff for NIT Uttarakhand ranged from 24079-64639 for the general category candidates. Location is super natural and tht makes it special
The beautiful city and its market gives us a perfect vibe

Again location because after 6 pm you can't go to different palces
Infrastructure is still in making mode that I sworse

The biggest mistake I did was after cekaring jee I put this College on my very first choice and I don't have any option left for this so I feel I had proper knowledge I would never choose this College

Reality of nit Uttarakhand

Faculty is soo good supportive and well educated from good colleges like nit and iit
Labs facilities is too good all types of machines is available

Campus is not permanent soo to much probleydue to stay in polytechnic campus
Hostel is too load new hostel are under construction

The eligibility criteria is to get 75%mark in class 12th board exam and have to qualify jee entrance exam with approx. 94percentile aur more for civil course. There is reservation for sc st obc and ews also home state quota is available. The website should improved.

Overview of NIT Uttarakhand Electronic branch

Due to small number of students in college, professor focus on individual students more so it increases their teaching capacity as professor know names of almost all students an slowly know them personally that's a great benefit for development of
Students. Moreover due to overall less strength of college,students also know almost every other student and it is very beneficial for students social life.Those who love to travel there are a lot of places nearby as college is situated in mountains

Campus of college is very small so you are in loss on campus basis and won't have a late night campus life. Town is small so most of famous brands like KFC, Dominos are not available and the town even lacks a movie theatre
Clubs don't work in our college and placements are only given to capable students

Admission are only done onthe basis of Joint entrance examination (mains).you need a sufficiently good percentile to take admission if you belong to general category There is 50% reservation for home state students And other reserved seats for SC/ST/OBC and girls

It's all my experience of NITUK

In 2022 when I write the jee exam ,I avail the cse brach because I get 95 percentile and as well as having the home state benefits. The only aspect whivh I don't liked was the category wise cutoffs only

You should qualify jee mains with 90 + percentile for general, and80 for OBC 40-45 for sc, 20-25 for ST You can find form on NTA website jee mains, Jee mains 2 chance in 1 year, jee advanced one time in a year

Know our college from my side only

There will be a good educational environment
There will be a good exploration opportunity

Our campus infrastructure is not as much good as other nits has
There will no more option for mess facilities

Admission process was really easy , professor's were really co-operative and told us how to fill all the required details It took only almost 2 hours in the entire process . It is alloted through counseling of Jee mains examination

NIT Uttarakhand - pros and cons at a glance

I had a great interaction with the college faculty. They have graduated from prestigious colleges and have a vast teaching experience. Most faculty members are friendly and go out of the way to solve students' doubts.
I loved the location of the college. It is situated in the midst of Srinagar, surrounded by hills on all sides with Alaknanda river flowing beside the campus, offering picturesque views to the students.

The college has poor infrastructure. Most of the necessary equipment/infrastructure is running on improvisation. The college doesn't have ample space to accommodate more students.
The old hostels (which are offered to girls and first year boys) are poorly maintained and are in shambles. The washrooms are unhygienic and unclean. Another problem is the mess food, it is boring and offers little variety, though the taste is fine.

To be eligible for a BTech course from NIT Uttarakhand, you must clear the JEE Mains examination with 75% in board exams. Councelling takes olace through JOSAA and CSAB portals after the exam results. The JEE Mains examination is held twice annually, typically in the month of January and April. Application form can be easily found and filled on NTA website. The entire process from application to admission is streamlined and easy, with little scope for improvement.

An all and out for Nituk

The faculties and other staff members are really helpful and provide great assistance to each student whenever required and also the seniors help us on any case be it external or internal.
Quality of teaching is good, also the diversity created due to the students from all over India feels awesome.

The college have a downgraded profile in Google and other reviews based on its campus issues however it is so far true that the campus is temporary and does have a fine look as compared to other NITs.
One thing which is not to be overlooked is the hostel mess food for which we pay in advance which is not taken care of even after the frequent complaints by the students.

12th pass student has to appear Jee exam which is conducted tiwce a year and clear the cutoff for jee advanced if he want to take seat in IITs or otherwise you can enroll for NITs and IITs via Josaa councelling and there are many reservation benefits offered if it applies to you. If you want to enroll seat in these premier colleges then you have to start working hard from 11th onwards and solve as many questions as possible.

Not a perfect, but have potential to be

The campus, inshort the campus is too small that you don't have to give extra efforts for interactions.
Seniors are the most overwhelming thing in this college, you will get the interactive and supportive seniors.

Again the campus, facilities are very poor, we don't have proper ground and it is obvious. We don't have any permanent campus
Mess food, it's very poor and hygiene is awful

The cutoff for outside is 97 percentile, and for homestate, you can get the branch till 90 percentile, but if you are sc you can have the branch even in 80 percentile and st can get the seat in 78 percentile with csab rounds. Jee exam is mandatory.

Better opportunity because the no of students are less than other nit

To reach the college u can only use bus aur taxis
No movie theatre or cinema halls near college

You will get admission through only JEE Mains and if you want CSE branch So u should have rank under 17k (general category) you will get admission by Jossa counselling and admission process is similar to all other nit
