- All the big brands and big tech giants come to the campus for great opportunity opportunity for students you can apply for placements from the fifth semester itself.
- College provides a lot of scholarships like merit cum means scholarship, inspire scholarship, and fee waiver scheme.
- The faculty members are really good as they are great researchers in their respective fields.
Dislikes
- But, if we talk about scholarship then it's a bad news that there is no institute scholarship for unreserved students but u can get it for other organisations like nsp.
- The hostel rooms are also not good enough and lack cleanliness sometimes and have broken chairs/ tables, etc. at times.
- The academic workload can be sometimes demanding, not always but sometimes, leading to stress and pressure among students.

Good thing is ,infra of college, canteens of various hostels and buildings , our annual fest is awesome , students are helping and faculty too , bad thing is ,burden of exams , tests, viva,thesis, projects,etc

Placement Experience:
Our placement board is CDC, a career development center, it approached the companies and they have some tie-ups for recruiting people. the placement percent is about 80% as a whole. the major recruiters are software fields. the opportunities for core are really low. the average package of a mechanical student in the core is 7-8 lpa.

Over 200 companies come to campus for placement. The average package is that of 9 lakhs which changes year to year. Last year,100% placement of architecture students took place. Some students also prefer to go for higher studies.

College Management is very responsible and they solve most of our problems in a considerable manner.They take utmost care about students and provides all facilities satisfactorily to fulfill our needs.Teaching environment is great and doubts are also cleared easily by faculty. Canteen food is also nice.

Yes off course. Our college offers a lot of internships. It gives opportunities to each and every student and chances to go abroad. Top notch companies come for internships and stipends are good enough.

inviting applications for IIT Kharagpur Summer Internship Programme 2017. This Internship program is an especially for Computer Science/ Engineering students (and for engineering students in general) and it runs for two months during summers of every year. And the stipends were from 5k to 30k
