Biology is my favourite subject that's why I selected this course for better studies and higher opportunities. Faculty & students are very much friendly and faculty is also always helpful to them students. They all have good qualifications and humble personalities. Teaching methods are so much impactful and mesmerizing. The semester exam is conducted 2 times a year. Regular study is good for passing the semester exam

I HAD AN INTEREST TO ESTABLISH MY CAREER IN BIO SCIENCE STREAM, AND AGRICULTURE IS A VERY INTERESTING COURSE AND BACKBONE OF THE SOCIETY, THATS WHY I OPT FOR THIS IF WE CALCULATE ROUGHLY, ALMOST 150 STUDENTS IN OUR 1ST YEAR, AND IN EACH DEPARTMENT, ON AN AVERAGE 7-8 PROFESSORS ARE THERE PROFESSORS ARE VERY TALENTED AND VERY HELPFUL, YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH THEIR TEACHING METHODS, THERE ARE SOME LEGENDARY TEACHERS IN BCKV LIKKE PROF. B C PARTA SIR (AGRONOMY) AND OTHERS. THERE ARE 2 SEMESTERS EACH YEAR, AFTER COMPLETION OF ALMOST90% OF THE SYLLABUS, MID TERM EXAMS OUT OF 20 MARKS ARE DONE, AFTER THAT , END TERM EXAM OUT OF 50 MARKS, AND LATER ON, PRACTICAL AND VIVA OUT OF 20 MARKS ARE BEING DONE. TOTAL OF 100 MARKS PER SUBJECT, U HAVE TO SCORE AT LEAAT 55 MARKS TO PASS IF YOU ATTEND LECTURES AND STUDY PROPERLY, AND FOLLOW THE TRENDS OF PREVIOUS YEARS QUESTIONS, IT IS NOT SO DIFFICULT TO PASS, BUT FEW SUBJECTS LIKE PLANT PATHOLOGY OR SOIL SCIENCE NEEDS IN DEPTH UNDERSTANDING.

I choose this course because I belong to an agricultural family, so I want to improve my knowledge about the most important thing, agriculture. About 130 students in a year. There are around 500 students in UG and also has PG and Ph.D. students about 200. The university, BCKV is an updated university all over west Bengal, and study has to give in a smart way and also be practical. In one year 2-semester exam was held. The time gap between semesters is 6 months.

I belong to an agricultural family. I want to research agriculture. So I choose this course. Professors are highly qualified from renowned universities. with 4 exams per year. Almost all students passed. Faculty: student ratio is 1:10

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 7th semester but the majority of the students prefer higher studies or govt. jobs. So the company placement rate is quite low, about 20%. The major companies are Bayer, Syngenta, UPL, Dhanuka, etc. The annual average package is between 1.8 lakh to 2.4 lakh. After getting the degree my target is to go for M.Sc.

I chose this course because I heard that a lot of scopes have been in this course. The faculty and student ratio is average. Qualification of faculty is high. There are a lot of exams. Mid-term, practical, viva, end-term, assignment etc have to submit. Not hard to pass but hard to score a good GPA.

Most of the students go for higher studies or govt. jobs after the completion of graduation. The placement facility in our college is not that good but yes some companies like pesticides, fertilizer, etc. are there which can provide jobs. The companies are Bayer, Syngenta, UPL, and Tata and their annual average package is 2.4 lakh/annum but it varies. 20% of the students get placement in these companies and others go for M.Sc. or govt. service. I plan to study for different govt. jobs after completing graduation.

From the last semester,8th semester the students become eligible for campus placements. Average package of the companies are 3 lakhs/year. I will opt for higher studies in Agronomy after completing UG.

I chose this course as I always wanted to study agriculture since my childhood. The faculty is good. Every professor is student-friendly and their teaching method is well. All professors are Ph.D. qualified. Exams are semester-based. Well, preparation is needed to pass exams.

I chose this course because of its job opportunities. The boys and girls ratio is 2:1. The qualification of the faculty is a ph.d. The exam of every semester is held on the 6th month from the start of each semester. And the exam is held two times midterm and end-term. The exam is not so difficult.
