BCKV COLLEGE REVIEW

Likes

College hostel is very good and hostel charges are very affordable.
College canteen is very nice, various types of foods are available.

Dislikes

Playground is need to be maintained and it is not nearby college.
Air Conditioner is not available in class rooms

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

My year wise fees is about 13550rs as I said earlier. Our admission fees is about - 18000rs. I have to pay about 6700rs for one semester. There no extra charge is taken by students for lab fees. If you had very good mark in Higher secondary level you can apply for Swami Vivekananda Scholarship.

The course is very much important and have much impact on society.
The campus is too beautiful. Peaceful for mind, you can get the largest agricultural library of Asia here.

Dislikes

Placement cell is useless, no one can succeed in life after the hardwork of 4 years.
Authority have no power and can't provide peace through out the campus.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Here per semester you need 11k and at the time of admission 24k needed. This fees is same for all category students. Scholarship like SVMCM, Oikashri is available for the students, through which student can get 18k per year.

Good Professors are here who are very much friendly.
Good Hostel facility for students.Mess is rubbed by students

Dislikes

Academic is very hectic.Students study just before exams.

The fee can be easily managed and friendly decent price.Right now it is nearly 10,000 per semester and increasing every year though.Please check your time admission the notification for better knowing the actual price.

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

Likes

Campus life is amazing. You can enjoy a lot with your friends
Academic building is great along with a huge library.

Dislikes

Too much pollution at the locality. Construction work is going on
Mess food is not that good. Some mess managers are dishonest.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The tuition fee is increased as per the requirement of the university. There is no proper rule for that. Complete cost varies from class to class. You can visit the website for more detailed and updated details. You can get University Research scholarship (18k/month) in PhD, Swami Vivekananda scholarship from UG to PG, Single Girl Child Scholarship. Job offer is pretty good. There is different placement cell which conduct job requirements throughout the entire year.

Likes

Professors in this university are very talented and friendly. They help us a lot.
We get the opportunity to do lot of field works. It's very beneficial for our experiential learning.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not so good. Sometimes there are some problems in supply of drinking water.
Assets of this university needs regular maintains. Which is not done here regularly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Tution fees are increasing every year or in alternate years. Now the course fees per semester is reached about 12-14k. The complete cost of education is more or less 1lac. There are many govt and private scholarships available. I'm getting 18k per year from the SVMCM scholarship. I don't know much about Campus employment.

I like all specially the educational infrastructure.
Low amount of admission fees and hostel fees. There are supplementary exams if you fails in any 3 courses. nothing to fear

Dislikes

Infrastructure of building should be maintained regularly (additionally Ac fans etc)
Results should be published timely. Administration building should look after it

Very few Agricultural University in India has lower fees structure as like BCKV. That is an highlight for this University. Admission fees is 15000rs and 6700rs/ sem . There is hostel facility which charges only food cost monthly around 2500rs Swami Vivekanand scholarship is available for students which provides 18000rs per year

Method of teaching is very modified and also helpful for students, who are belongs from others board other than CBSC
Laboratories are very high maintenance. Daily routine is maintained . Morning to Evening classes are done with one of the best expertise all over India.

Dislikes

Field should maintain properly for learning works , which will be helpful for our future.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As a govt. University I think fees are reasonable . There are 2 semesters per year and semester fees submitted before end term examination of each semester. In one time semester fees all over dreses are included.

Good ambiance and scenic beauty..perfect for mental peace
Functions are huge and classy..no restrictions their...everybody can enjoy

Dislikes

Administration is awful..they don't think we are human
The hostel food is yucky...everybody lose weight here

Fees are increasing year after year...we the batch of 2021 pay 6775 for each semester...there is 2 semesters in a year and it's a 4 year course. Different scholarships are there...based on category and financial status.

We and Our University - BCKV

In our university we have great teaching staffs, farm house which is within the university, all type of practical equipments.
We have a huge campus including 3 faculty ( agriculture, horticulture, and agricultural engineering) , hostel accomodation is available for all.

Dislikes

Lack of infrastructure, there are shortage of class room, there are not specific room for specific classes.
We have placement cell but currently university doesn't provide any placement facilities.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I took admission in the yr of 2021, during this time admission fees like 15000 and semester fees for Dayscholer 5000 and for hostel students it was 7000 for ug students. For pg students it varies. But nowadays semester fees and admission fees are increasing. But students got some scholarship according their Hs results. Some state goverment scholarship like SVMCM and amount is 18k per yr. And others are also available.

My university in my eyes

Likes

The faculty is very experienced and focused on very deep and soundful learning. The campus is very supportive
The class room facilities are top class and have ac and smart boards

Dislikes

The water facility is relatively less good
Sometime in summer current goes outit is also a Problem

To get admission in this university the marks of higher secondary education or class 12 is needed the physics chemistry biology and English marks are combined and rent here then the top 100 or 150 students get admission to the scores at the time of admission you have to go 20000 rupees and every semester you have to be semester fees which would be around 8000. There are many scholarship which apply likes Swami Vivekananda scholarship and other also the campus employment can be a various type various job role responsibilities other type and awarded to the students which are deemed to be worthy
