Likes

The course is very much important and have much impact on society.
The campus is too beautiful. Peaceful for mind, you can get the largest agricultural library of Asia here.

Dislikes

Placement cell is useless, no one can succeed in life after the hardwork of 4 years.
Authority have no power and can't provide peace through out the campus.

Internships Opportunities:

There is as such opportunities of placement or internship. But there's a internship program in 7th semester for all the students. This is quite good. The internship program named RAWE and RAHE. You can learn many things through the process.

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

Likes

Campus life is amazing. You can enjoy a lot with your friends
Academic building is great along with a huge library.

Dislikes

Too much pollution at the locality. Construction work is going on
Mess food is not that good. Some mess managers are dishonest.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is good. A lot to sales and marketing roles are offered every here. Apart from that you can join Research and Development roles and NGOs. The avarage package is around 4LPA. Every year around 30% students get placed. Rest go for higher studies and entrepreneurship. Highest package varies around 6LPA & lowest varies around 3LPA.

Likes

Professors in this university are very talented and friendly. They help us a lot.
We get the opportunity to do lot of field works. It's very beneficial for our experiential learning.

Dislikes

Hostel facilities are not so good. Sometimes there are some problems in supply of drinking water.
Assets of this university needs regular maintains. Which is not done here regularly.

Internships Opportunities:

We don't get any internship from any company but we do the same as Internship in where and with which topic we are assigned to do some work by the university. Examples of some projects done by students are: making of Fruits juice, Squash, Jam, Jelly, Sauce Marketing and selling them. Making some cost-benefit charts for various crop cultivation, and interraction with Farmers in villages and urban areas.

I like all specially the educational infrastructure.
Low amount of admission fees and hostel fees. There are supplementary exams if you fails in any 3 courses. nothing to fear

Dislikes

Infrastructure of building should be maintained regularly (additionally Ac fans etc)
Results should be published timely. Administration building should look after it

Placement Experience:

After completing this course one can seat in placement for getting a secured job but it is in private sector but for govt job one should apply in competitive exam like AFO and Adh or Ada etc. That's a highly paid job for students

the campus sizs is extremely large to enjoy college life.

Dislikes

the authority and the faculty are very negligent on their part.

Placement Experience:

There is not much placement opportunities in here,veryrare companies come for recruitment.Only the students who are in their final years are eligible for the placement round.Around 5-10 students get placed from a batch of 120 students.

Likes

The campus of to university is very big and beautiful.
Smart classrooms are available as well as normal classrooms are also there .

Dislikes

There should to more practical based class .
Teaching procedure should be more friendly and easy .

Placement Experience:

From 8 th semester students become eligible for placement. PRADAN offered a job of salary 30k during training period per month and 70k during job per month . My plan is to complete masters then I will apply any job .

It is number one Agricultural University in West Bengal.
If some one looking for ergent job then BCKV is appropriate place.

Dislikes

In BCKV political issue is the major problem.
For the political issue students have to suffer.

Placement Experience:

There are good placement facilities offered by different companies. The highest salary package is 3.6 LPY. For every company, 10-12 students are selected. I have completed my graduation so currently I am looking for an MSc entrance

Campus was very good and all the faculty are very much caring.
Placements facilities are very good as students get placed in reputed companies.

Dislikes

Social clubs are not available in the university
Gymnasium must be upgraded as it is very old fashioned.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for placements. Various companies including pesticides, NGOs, banks, etc. The highest package is around 8 lac per annum and the average is 4 lac per annum. 50% of the students get placements. Preparations for getting a master's degree.

My institute: The homely BCKV.

Likes

Campus life, hostel , the cultural programmes, Faculty, our professors and the best library.
Good meal service, homely atmosphere in hostel

Internships Opportunities:

When the students are in the 7th semester they go to different places in different districts and stay there for 3-4 months and collect data about a particular village prepare the whole picture of their livelihood and mainly concentrate on the agricultural background. And they get an amount of Rs 18000 after completion of this internship.

Hostel is very good for students. this is the place where students are carefully.
we are selected for many companies and government jobs.

Dislikes

every years not visited many companies for placement.
many students are not qualified for government jobs.

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester passed out students are eligible for campus placement. many agro-based companies like the food industry, fertilizer industry, many pest or pathogens disease control pesticides, fungicides company, and pradan companies visited this university.
