Course Curriculum Overview

Biology is my favourite subject that's why I selected this course for better studies and higher opportunities. Faculty & students are very much friendly and faculty is also always helpful to them students. They all have good qualifications and humble personalities. Teaching methods are so much impactful and mesmerizing. The semester exam is conducted 2 times a year. Regular study is good for passing the semester exam

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are increasing day by day also the semester and admission fees per year is in the way of increase. The students of the poor family are facing the problem of that. Svmcm is available as a scholarship no financial assistance and no job got on campus with a stipend.

Campus Life

The annual fest is organised in the month of January every year named Naihrit. There is a large central library having 5k+ books by different writers and other journals are also available for the students. The classroom is very beautiful. There is a good scope of sports and games. Annual sports of the university are organised every year also with cultural programmes.

Admission

The eligibility of the course is10+2 with a science stream with 75% marks in Biology, physics, and chemistry. The application form, application fees and application dates are available on the official website of BCKV. The reservation benefits for the students of sc/st and OBC students are also available as it is a state university. The admission process is nice.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Seat limit has been decreased into a little amount.So, getting chance is more difficult .there are 3 faculties agriculture, horticulture, agriculture engineering.In agriculture faculty so many departments are there ,but seat limit is less.In total seat,80%is for domicile students of West Bengal and 20%for icar accredited university students.In that 80% 70% for university home students and 10% for rest of the domicile students.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..

BCKV, a place to cherish forever.

You have to secure good percentage in Higher Secondary and clear the cutoff (More than 90%) to get into UG. You have to clear cutoff of University exams to get into PG/PhD. Eligibility is 12th with P+C+B or vocational with related subjects from any board. Students can also get admission from ICAR AIEEA (UG) exam. Application forms are available on the official website of the university ( https://bckv.edu.in ) when the application portal is opened. The date varies from time to time, generally, the application starts after the result of the 12th board exam is published. Yes, there are reservations for SC ST OBC students, General EWS students also get the benefit of reservation. In each semester there is one midterm one practical evaluation and one final end term for each course in a semester. Difficulty level is moderate.
