Likes
- Best in all aspects such as location, infrastructure and studies.
- Students of UPES are now at top post in many top companies.

Placement Experience:
Birla Soft, Polaris and many names which are heard of were here. Over 2000 students are placed from UPES every year including all branch. Massive placements happen here and everyone who have studied hard and has done intenrships were provided placements.

- Likeable university by almost all and NIRF too has placed our university in top 50 universities in India.
- With a placement percentage for our branch of 80% it's one of the highest among private entities.
- Faculties are too strong and always communicate the syllabus the best.
Dislikes
- Hostels aren't that tidy as the university as students keep creating chaos always.

Placement Experience:
One don't have to go round and round as placements are done well within the time as most students here are placed by 7th semester. Those who left behind can try their luck on day zero as we have mass companies coming for a 3 day event and hire as many as they can.

- Placements of UPES are so positive and better in all aspects that we have to look nowhere for placements.
- Even faculties are quite supportive at our university that if we ask them for free or extra lecture they give us without asking twice.
Dislikes
- I didn't liked students of other branches as they use our facilities without permission.

Placement Experience:
Campus placements at UPEE starts every September as let's say I am in my final year now and our placements have started ever since. So, 60% of my class is already placed by now and fortunately I am one of those.

- Our syllabus is fully industry aligned and that's what makes them the best out of all.
- Our a academics are strong vocational and loud to clear all pathways.
- Campus has all the modern facilities in labs, hostels and ofcourse the security.
Dislikes
- Very far from Dehradun Railway Station and for outsiders like us it's very difficult to reach there in odd hours.

Placement Experience:
The placement rate of UPES School of Engineering is 80%. Now this is bigger than most as it is impossible to have that placements percentage with a batch of 1000 or more. The average placements are also between 7-9 LPA and highest so far has been of 42 LPA. Top names in the industry like Microsoft, Adobe and Amazon are some of our biggest recruiters.

- Upes as a whole is whole is adorable place because of the quality of ambiance.
- Upes crowd is mostly middle upper class people as otherwise one can't afford UPES.
- Not just law but even management and law college of UPES are top class.
Dislikes
- Our CSE department may have its own Computer of Engineering Building but our labs are still in different building.

Placement Experience:
Around 100 recruiters is what UPES has and it is not at all easy for us even after that. I am placed while I am in my 7th semester and most students were. Those who are left will get another shot in this semester which is our last semester. All IT companies while coming to Dehradun UPES is their first coice university for recruitment.

- Very nice and tidy uniform which we ourselves love wearing.
- VLSI lab is the biggest lab in the campus and I am glad I am having access of it.
Dislikes
- Very far from the main commuting or railway station and airport of Dehradun.

Placement Experience:
Campus placements begin as early as 3rd year end. Because in the 5th semester our training and all starts. Also, students with intenrships certificates get a better chance and first chance too. Roles and all depends on skills but whoever gets placements get in between 5-10 lakhs. Some brilliant students though have got placements worth 30-40 lakhs too but only a few.

- Modern example of University is our DTU as it's as modern as any western university.
- Our engineering syllabus has leaves of Korean Universities as we have taken some mettle from there.
- Our placements are better than most and that is why we are onf the top 50 universities in India.
Dislikes
- Too many departments of CSE and it becomes difficult to choose one.

Placement Experience:
Since CSW students as in UPES School of Computer Science students are 1200+, I think 60 percent students do get placements. Now the criteria is that students get a strong bandwith in placements that it is not at all easy to become a part of placements as students carrying back in 3rd year are not allowed to appear for any job interview at the university.

- I think our labs and location both are stupendous.
- Food joints outside the university like the Indrani Cafe and others are marvelous.
- Also our faculties supports students for participating in college events.
Dislikes
- Daily uniform looks a tiring job as we are not allowed in civil uniform inside the campus.

Placement Experience:
UPES students have to be ready in the last year as both the semester placements activities keeps on having its toll. Also, a student qualified for a placement can only appear for the interview on the companies that are offering a 2x paycheck as otherwise once the placements are done means done at UPES.

- UPES Dehradun has best infrastructure as not just the campus is huge but is strategically built off city.
- Our buildings are maintained externally and internally every year.
- Our fests are probably the best in Uttarakhand State.
Dislikes
- Too many departments and therefore some mismanagement happens often.
Placement Experience:
UPES has seen placements in range of 50 lakhs and more and that because of the stupendous tie-ups that our placement cell has seen. Our CSE entries batch size is of 1200 and out of which 600 were placed with an average salary of 18 lakhs and now one can debate if any other college in Uttarakhand apart from IIT Roorkee provide such placements.

- No contact with classmate or batchmates.
- Sometimes students face difficulty when they do not take classes
Placement Experience:
Currently I am completing my 1 semster so I don't know about the placements opportunity. But as I listen about this college they are giving a best placement if you have scored good and also have a good skills.
